Absolutely. After the 3rd Mam try I was just hoping the scoreline wouldn’t get embarrassing.
I was feeling fine thinking we would go to a new level when Mam crossed for his second try. Then he crossed for his third and I was thinking yep. We're done. Momentum is against us and this score could become anything.
In a regular season match I wouldnt have thought we were out of it and could come back. Seen it before a bunch of times. But in a grand final I thought there's no way a team surrenders a 16 point lead.
I heard a heap of Panther fans left the ground early.
Many turning points. Id have to rematch. I do recall just before halftime when Spencer gave a silly penalty telling my mate if the Broncos score this is a turning point in the game. Penrith should be 20-0 by now with so much ball and so many Brisbane errors. At 8-6 I felt Brisbane had all the momentum and couldn't play that poorly in the 2nd half. Penriths attack was diabolical.
Leota and JFH where amazing. Did Brisbane score any points while they where on the field?
Thats what she saidYep, watching in the cave, at 24-8 I turned the sound off and started polishing the Cruiser. Now I have a half shiny bullbar.
I didn't think we'd get the ball back after his third.
Brisbane were just rolling down field and shredding the defence every touch.
Critter getting to the loose ball saved the game.
Critta getting that loose ball and giving it to Leota to get extra metres took away their momentum. No surprise those 2 names pop up in such a scenario. There’s opposition momentum, then there’s the 3 tries in 10 mins, with Yeo, Luai and Sorensen on the bench type of momentum. How we even got a sniff I’ll never know. They looked that slick.
