19 Victorian players selected for today's Combined Affiliated States U18s curtain raiser for State of Origin Game I tonight in Adelaide. Victorian ref William Roache will also be the match official for tonight's curtain raiser. Game can be watched live via the NRL.com website
is it CAS blue vs CAS white? or will both those sides play a lower div QLD and NSW?
looks like there was enough Victorian players to do CAS v VIC, would of preferred to see that

Very frustrating to see the drop off of WA talent at this age group since the NRL cut funding and closed down the SG ball program. Used to be 50-50 WA and Vic representation at this age group. Good to see the Vic systems coming to fruition though.

Yes, CAS blue vs CAS white. CAS v VIC would've been good, not sure why they selected this format.

Yeah it's good to see a number of Vics coming through the ranks. And the NRL can defo be stingy when it comes to interstate development at grassroots level. Storm didn't get their first SG ball side until a decade after they formed and only just began their Storm Academy program this year. Storm CEO Justin Rodski even talked about disappointment in the NRL's lack of funding in Vic development.

At least Perth's NRL team should be secure financially from the get-go and with Roger Cook now taking over as WA Premier, we should be seeing Perth/WA's NRL team sooner rather than later.

Selection process didn't help ...

Darius Rogers not making the squad is crazy.
