It is amazing what happens when you turn up with the right attitude and enthusiasm. This was easily our best performance of the season given the conditions and both pre and mid game injuries. The ball handling was excellent, the kicking game was smart and deliberate and they were committed in defence for 80 minutes.

The negatives are the injuries to Latrell and Liu, however fox sports were reporting last night that both were ok to return but weren’t risked given the conditions so hopefully that is the case. The positives, apart from the obvious is that we are slowly starting to get returns from our young talent, Latrell has been the obvious one but Jacko, Matterson and especially young Watson turned up to the party last night, I thought all 3 were great. All of a sudden, if the development continues, we have a potentially potent spine in years to come with Latrell, Pearce, Jacko, Jake, Matterson and Watson. JWH getting back to his best is also a massive positive and Guerra looks like origin might have finally woke him up

As I said in the first paragraph, this game was won through excellent ball handling and a smart kicking game which are funnily enough the exact requirements to compete with a dogged and discipline Melbourne side. You watch dry conditions return and our butter fingers and dumb play with it….

3 Jake
2 JWH
1 all of them for an excellent handling display and playing in that horrific weather

Yeah grats on the win, Roosters turned up way more enthusiastic and were a lot hungrier in the wet , from an opposition fans point of view whenever Latrell touched the ball I could sense danger coming, I like him a lot as a player of the future but seems a tad injury prone I think

Jacko also had his best game I've seen him play aswell

Once again JWH also proved he loved playing against a weak tigers pack making them look 2nd rate

3 points: Jared Warea-Hargreaves. Was in complete "Beast Mode" on Sunday and he tore into the Tigers. Played 66 minutes, 22 runs for 252 metres, 22 tackles, 1 tackle bust and 1 off load. Lead from the front.

2 points: Aiden Guerra. Played the full 80 minutes backing up from Origin. 18 runs for 167 metres, 26 tackles, 1 try assist and 1 try. A quality game from a player I have a lot of time for. Just needs to get back to this level of consistency.

1 point: Sio Siua Taukeiaho. Kicking 6 goals from 6 attempts in those shitty conditions, especially the first couple which were from well out wide deserves much praise.
