It is amazing what happens when you turn up with the right attitude and enthusiasm. This was easily our best performance of the season given the conditions and both pre and mid game injuries. The ball handling was excellent, the kicking game was smart and deliberate and they were committed in defence for 80 minutes.
The negatives are the injuries to Latrell and Liu, however fox sports were reporting last night that both were ok to return but werent risked given the conditions so hopefully that is the case. The positives, apart from the obvious is that we are slowly starting to get returns from our young talent, Latrell has been the obvious one but Jacko, Matterson and especially young Watson turned up to the party last night, I thought all 3 were great. All of a sudden, if the development continues, we have a potentially potent spine in years to come with Latrell, Pearce, Jacko, Jake, Matterson and Watson. JWH getting back to his best is also a massive positive and Guerra looks like origin might have finally woke him up
As I said in the first paragraph, this game was won through excellent ball handling and a smart kicking game which are funnily enough the exact requirements to compete with a dogged and discipline Melbourne side. You watch dry conditions return and our butter fingers and dumb play with it .

1 all of them for an excellent handling display and playing in that horrific weather
