"Wests Tigers are most vulnerable"

Think of an nrl with wa/sa and 2nd brisbane it be the most completed national competition covering qld, nsw, act, wa, sa and nz. Damn super league ruined that broad national footprint that would surpass afl and a-league in national coverage. Covering Townsville/newcastle areas that afl will never go to added advantage.

Do you people know what " national" actually means?

Is there any kind of Rugby League base in South Australia? I live in Brisbane and Brisbane can sustain 2 teams and the 2nd team would get a better chance to be successful as Super League erupted straight after the Crushers first game. I think having the Warriors representing New Zealand is good enough.

1 - spend the next 10 years growing that base in SA.

2 - the with brisbane is whether to make another Brisbane 'city' team, or somewhere further out like Ipswich or Redcliffe (and if thats the case, should they play at Suncorp anyway)

3 - I think a Southern NZ team, either Christchurch or Wellington, would add a lot to the NRL and NZ RL

Substitute a second NZ team for Cronulla, merge tigers and magpies and add in Melbourne, merge Steelers and Dragons and add in Adelaide and you've got the blueprint right there

If Ipswich and Redcliffe can bid for a team I can't see why Toowoomba can't as well. They have a massive Rugby League base there, the public there are Rugby League mad and they have a good junior base to work with and there have been some terrific players have come out of the Darling Downs/Western Queensland area.

That's nice but...
It's
2017
And guess who are the reigning premiers?

I wasnt trolling.
The tigers are the most vulnerable Sydney club to be moved as it currently stands.
Not my fault tigpies fans are more deluded than a perth red & buzz love child.

Most vulnerable club yet financially stable.

The furthest we are relocating to is Campbelltown permanently genius. Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane or whatever you think is not happening. We are safe

Dragons actually owe the nrl millions, so technically I'd say they are most vulnerable

So
Warriors first gone...followed by
Storm
Titans
Cows
Broncos
I presume we're talking about clubs folding/ relocating so since RL attendances are the main gripe, f**ked if I know why when 'home with Fox' is far more preferable, there needs to be a thinning of NRL clubs in Sydney

All the satellite teams are safe as houses, even Newcastle, Melbourne and Brisbane the safest , far safer than any Sydney club . . . because they are necessary

That's far from true. Everything but the on field stuff has been sorted and they are working on the roster as we speak. The Dragons would be much worse as they're in massive dept.

He's still woking on his Tonka toys ATM,before he can go broom, broom.

Our perpetual whiner can't handle the fact the Sharks have a $500m development and their own ground. His team is still TBA and no development .

Adelaide/Brisbane/NZ/Kuala Lumpur/Muscat before Perth.

When are the new afl and Aleague teams starting playing in this region? Maybe rather than a club it needs a club that genuinely connects with the region? Not every suburb in Sydney can have a club, it's not 1950!
The Wanderers already plays some games at Campbelltown Stadium and the Giants are in competition with all western Sydney NRL clubs. There should be 3 western Sydney NRL clubs who are based and play all their home games in their areas.

- Penrith
- Parramatta
- Liverpool Macarthur
You can add Canterbury Bankstown to that if you see them as western Syd.

The A League are also thinking about a third A League club in Sydney. 1 suggestion is a Sutherland Shire team, but soccer is pretty big in the south west. They might go with a Liverpool Macarthur team based at Campbelltown Stadium since their are only a few games of NRL in the south west per year.

The Liverpool Macarthur area isn't a suburb PR. It's an area that could have a population of 1 million soon. It's much more important than pandering to the inner west.

Lucky we have the Wests Tigers to support the MacArthur Region.

Ultimately, Wests Ashfield own 75% of the club and they can choose to play games where they please...

Its my understanding that Wests Campbelltown used to put money into the club but pulled up stumps long ago,.... Maybe Wests Campbelltown could put some bucks into the club in return for a better deal?
Wests Campbelltown left the Wests Tigers board (they only had 1 vote out of 10 anyway) but are still paying the money via sponsorship.

NRL should be at 20 teams by 2030.
Perth
SeQLD-3
Adelaide
NZ-2

Yeah 20 teams by 2030 is right!

But I think this is ideal:

5 QLD clubs: North QLD Cowboys, Sunshine Coast Falcons, Redcliffe Dolphins, Brisbane Broncos, Gold Coast Titans

3 NZ clubs: Auckland Warriors, Wellington Orcas, Christchurch Bulls

1 VIC club: Melbourne Storm

1 South Australia club: relocation from Sydney

1 Western Australia club: relocation from Sydney

9 NSW Clubs: Newcastle Knights, Canberra Raiders, 7 Sydney clubs

I heard Redcliffe are upgrading Dolphin Stadium. I think there is enough room there to upgrade it into a 20,000 seat stadium (similar to Gosford Stadium) if they enter the NRL. The Moreton Bay Region has a population of over 400,000. I think they should be the second Brisbane club. They have plenty of history and a lot of QLD legends have played for them. I hear they have a rich Leagues club too. Get it done NRL!

I think people agree Wests Tigers should move their base to Campbelltown permanently

But if it meant you supporting us again...uhh no thanks

Wests started as a Ashfield club

And today they run as a Ashfield-Leichhardt inner west club

Campbelltown is similar to Illawarra these days only there to provide juniors

Juniors?

Have you seen who the club has been signing lately?

Their juniors move onto greener pastures

Why would they continue to fund juniors?

So they should if true...

Any link you can provide?

How much money do they make out of each home game at Lumeah?
