I know Charlie. I like to clutch at straws. It halps allay the nerves somewhat. I think I will just take this as yet another bonus for a wonderful season

The key for the Tigers is their defence. They can and will score points, it's just a matter of stopping them.

Their defence against the Cowboys was first class. It dropped a little against the Broncos, but then again, some fine scrambling defence ensured the Broncos line breaks did not turn into points.

In any case, this should be a cracker.

Nah, I think the Tigers are playing too well for them. I hope anyway.

they have smeg, but the Dragons have been the more impressive.

In one stretch they beat
NQ away
Bris away
Eels home
Knights home.

I seem to remember the Tigers winning 8 in a row....including a demolition of Saints at oki...vanilla...choctop soon to be gaytime jubilee stadium.

I think thats pretty impressive.

Not too mention two finals games where we have kept the opposition to six while racking up 84 points.....i think thats impressive.

I will mention that I wasnt impressed by the Illawarra socks last game against the Sharks.....just scraped in.

And while Im at it....Saints went to sleep in the second half for extended periods in all those games.....especially Knights and Parra and nearly lost them.

If they drop of for 15 minutes against the Tigers it could get ugly.

1. Demolition? 8 points, same margin they put on you at Telstra. Hardly a demolition.

2. I like your maths. 84 points to 6 you quote. I is confused - Which out of Brisbane and Cowpats scored 0? :|

Tigers were hardly impressive against the Storm and Panthers in R25 and 26, so I wouldn't go getting on that high horse just yet...

I agree....im just highlighting how stats can be used to highlight an argument from one side....like Saab did.I was just returning serve.

And if you have watched the game at Oki....we put them to the sword,I know the score flattered Saints who gto a few late tries.

It wasnt close, and we have improved a lot since then.

And on our last two premiership games....I thought that Penrith and the Storm played really well and we lacked a little intensity...it can happen when you know you are entrenched in the top4/8.

But we certainly have been intense once the season was on the line.....I would say that we would ahve to be the pick of the finalists as far as from goes....with Saints scraping in against an ordinary Cronulla, and Parra 2nd half performance against Manly.

We are the form team.

The 32 points the Tigers scored in Round 8 flattered them too, the Dragons were by far the better team back then, and have since improved eons as well.

One thing is for sure, it's going to be one cracker of a match.

Wests will take it away. Theyve been building on their defence while the Drags have had the bye and not IMO been outstanding in their last two hit outs.

Wests by 14+

Having said that, you've had two chances to prove your form to their one. Those two clubs have perhaps been the most consistent in a season devoid of such a thing and quite frankly I can't go past them for our GF contenders. Being able to step downa notch in intensity and play what was ultimately a sh*thouse game against Cronulla, and still come away with a relatively comfortable win has got to say something about the quality your team is facing.

Did you watch the game????We had that game won until Gasnier blew us apart in a ten minute blitzkrieg. We had the better of that much for most of it....

I dont think you watch footy....yer understanding leaves a little to be desired.

Ohh,and by the way....in round 8,Manly,Canberra and Cronullla were killing it.Saints and Tigers werent even in the top 8.......relevance,close to zero.

Dodge...youve got nothing.

If Gasnier does the same this Saturday what's the excuse then? There is none. They didn't scrub up in that ten minute period and as a result Saints blew them away.

Dragons have my tip, on form, and on bandwagon support from me :D

Gasnier ran rings around Fitzy that day.....who was at his lowest ebb as a footy player. He is in excellent form, you may have noticed the two tries he scored, and the excellent runs out of dummy half.

Thats if you werent watching a replay of the swans game.
