Weyman Crusher tackle

I sincerely hope he's OK.

Makes little difference whom people support in a game of football when it comes to the types who say the things they say in situations like this.

Swine is swine boys, no matter what colour jumper it wears on the sidelines.

looking ahead. obviously wishing wrighty all the best in his recovery and hoping the news isnt bad.

Guessing Williams will be back for saturday?

kicking alone might get him in.

key point indicators for a crusher tackle were all adrressed. Defender around the legs stopping forward motion. Defender Torso in position then locking the arms & using body weight to compress the players head towards his chest. There is nothing in it if he doesnt lock his arm under Wrights arm pit. But if he doesnt lock it in, wright can avoid being crushed. They are all very aware of this so it was not only a crusher, but deliberate.

BTR i can count on hand how many times we have ever agreed but yes, when i first seen it crusher tackle, a good indication of this was shark player standing next to ref indicating neck as well.

If that was Soward tackled by Gallen you can bet all hell would have broken loose

That is not a sight you'd wish on anyone, unless you are an inbred Dragons fan with his head up his own arse (there's a few of them over there...)

Also, congrats to the Dragons for having the most useless medical staff in the NRL.
4 Sharks trainers, doctors, physions, and whoever else were trying to stabilise a serious neck injury before a single Dragons staff member comes to help. Even then he just grabbed a corner of the stretcher AFTER picking up his bag of goodies. The fat lazy Dragons physio looking guy then walked a whole 5 metres to take the bag off him once he'd got to the sideline. Very poor effort.

That's one thing that the Sharks are ALWAYS good at. If there's a serious injury, they are there to help ASAP.

This from a supporter of a club that got fined by the NRL for not having a proper medical room at their home ground. No opposition medical staff is going to run on the field when a players own team are attending to him, he helped carry him off, what did you want them to do over ride your own team? Slight exageration re: how many Sharks staff were on the field - 4 trainers, doctor phsyio and others. I don't think so.

And you are right no-one likes to see that sight with any player that is why he was clapped off the field by the Saints supporters.

No we didn't - The roosters had a sook cos they got beaten, there was never any actual investigation, and certainly no fine.
Our medical facilities are fine.

any new information on Wright's condition or the results of tests ?
Apparently Mr Baldy said he was fine but I am not sure that his medical qualifications are any stronger than mine or anyone else around here.

Apparently someone had told fat guts Weyman that Wright had an ecalir stuffed under his jumper and the fat preeck was trying to get at it.

I agree with previous poster, what would have happend if that was Gal on Soward??

It was clumsy and accidental. Mick Weyman is a decent bloke.

HOWEVER - I agree as others have said, if that was Gallen doing the EXACT same tackle on Soward there would've been fireworks in the crowd and it'd be on report at minimum.

FAIL.

Gallen would never be able to get near Soward. The man is like air - you know he's there, you just can't touch him.

OH. WHEN. THE. SAINTS.

GO. MARCHING. INNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great night. You guys had nothing. Couldn't even break the fence.

I will say that I nearly cried when I thought it was Jezza lying on the deck and that I hope Matty Wright is ok.

There was nothing in it.

What im more worried about is if Pomeroy is already in Super League mode.
The guy throws front rowers around, yet last night got palmed by cooper a million times.

farkn useless merkin.

I also think chad should run the show and not have to worry about gallen asking for the ball everytime he gets the shiits.

the stupid offload he made cost us a try.
his offisde penalty also cost us a try.

farkn silly.

Officials said he was stretchered off for precautionary measures you drama queen. No one wants the guy to suffer serious injury. Tackles go wrong, that’s rugby league.

The only crime committed on the field last night were the twigs in blue impersonating a football team

The aftermath of that tackle shows how professional Saints are IMO. We were keeping warm, Pricey was out there giving out the water. The Sharks players were just satdning around doing nothing.

Wow. While we're on the persecution trait...

There was some nice footage of niqabs in the crowd last night.

Aide bro, ease up on the androtops.

You suck one d|ck and all of a sudden you're labelled a twig.

That is true hornbyho. You could see the sharks blokes looking at the dragons running all over the place and then start some half hearted leg stretches. Perhaps they were warm enough after all the tackling...
