The Queens 4 points in front of us.
Now we're level.
Thats the best stat of the lot.
Hope we go 2 in front of them next week.

Heres the ladder currently:

http://nrl.com.au/season2004/ladder.cfm

When you think about it we aernt fairing to bad even when considering those stupid losees (ie Tigers etc). We are equal with the queens in number 8 all the way to us in number 10. Additionally our p/d has gone down a bit after Souths to a half-reasonable level. Also, many of the top 8 have had a bye and from like number 5 down have won teh same amount of games as us but with the bye get an advantage. Coming games will be interesting but I think we are real top 8 contention. Good to hear when considering I dont beleive we have seen the very best out of our team, only glimpses.

Those stats show at huge improvement. It just confirms to me that we are heading in the right direction and Raper is starting to prove his worth as a coach.
Our points difference still needs to improve heaps but if we continue to win it will slowly move towards a positive number.
Wests Tigers are the surprise packet of the comp so far for mine i now i look back on it there is no shame in losing to them. It was just the way we went about it.
The two major stats for me are the missed tackles we have come up with and the offloads we are producing.
We have more than halved our missed tackles which is very pleasing and this needs to continue to drop if we really wanna challenge for the 8.
The error count still needs to drop. Last night's first half would not have helped.
The offloads have increased suggesting Raper is trying to develope our attack now after working on the basics. I think this has in turn impacted on the line breaks which have more than doubled now as well.

I'm happy with the way the team is developing as well. We are certainly not at our best yet, but we can see the improvements on the field and we are getting wins on the board.

I certainly think we are a chance at finishing in the top 8. But as said above, we need to reduce the number of errors per game. If we can stop giving the other team so much ball, this will hugely improve our success rate. More ball, more possesion, more points!
