Will there be highlights DVD coming out? I have a few games recorded but would just like an overview of the whole tournament that captures the fun of RLWC 2013.

Some stores still sell the DVD from the previous World Cup in 08, so you'd think there would be one for 2013.

Rugby League rules Wembley thanks to RLWC2013
Rugby League World Cup 2013 has beaten off competition from the FA Cup Final, the Champions League Final, the NFL and several other major sporting and musical events, including The Killers and Bruce Springsteen, to be named Best Wembley Moment of 2013.
New Zealand’s thrilling clash with England, which was decided by Shaun Johnson’s try in the final minute, was nominated for the award, and it won
the popular vote from fans and members of the public as the year’s most memorable moment under the arch.
It means that for the first time since the new stadium opened Rugby League will be immortalised in stone on Wembley Way, and forever remember as the venue’s biggest moment of 2013.
RLWC2013 Tournament General Manager Sally Bolton said “Many people have called the England v New Zealand semi-final the best game of Rugby League they’d ever seen.
“However, considering the competition, it’s fantastic to get recognised like this. It’s another feather in the cap for RLWC2013 and a fantastic accolade.”
Roger Maslin, Managing Director of Wembley Stadium, said: “2013 has been an incredible year for Wembley Stadium, not just through the calibre of events hosted, but for the excitement they have provided. We’ve had last-minute winners in both major football finals, World Cup qualification for the England football team and spectacular musical performances from some world-class acts.
However, the drama of the Rugby League World Cup Semi-Final certainly befitted the occasion, so it is right to commemorate the match with a Wembley Way stone.”

As long as the winning bid launches the WC and proceeds to talk about it publicly for 2 years prior to kick off, it'll be successful.
Little things like tickets going on sale one year before kick off is a great idea, and then spend a year prublicising tickets

For all you Aussies who couldn't make it this time, get saving your pennies for 2021. You'll have a ball. Poms aren't as bad as they are made out to be ;-)

YOURE RIGHT,THEY ARE WORSE THAN USELESS.

I think Australia should have to miss the World Cup,the whle thing is too lop-sided,we must encourage other countries.

sorry guys its not much of a world cup when u get the same final again just with a different result where it turned out to be a flogging

yeh the other teams are close (everyone outside of the top 3) but australia is so far above the rest its not funny and imo it was a crap team with a even worse coach yet we still manage to win wtfff

So far off the mark it's not funny. It was by far the best World Cup we have had in the modern era, and by far the best Aussie team of the last decade. Yeah the coach is a spastic but the players could have coached themselves.

no doubt its the best world cup in the last 10 years we have only had 2 and this one was better but the teams are still so far away from australia
its not like we have 6 teams that have a shot at winning we only have 2

In the biggest sport in the world there are only about 6/7 countries who are capable of winning it!

Rugby Union realistically has 4

Rugby League has 3

Australia has all the advantages that make them the dominant country in League but they aren't streets ahead or untouchable despite the WCF result. They beat a NZ team that had given everything they had to win their semi final and who had peaked too early in the tournament.

Had England held out for the last few seconds I beleive the final would have been far more competitive. Australia struggled to get past England earlier in the tournament and England's pack had proved to be too strong for the Ausies in that game even without James Graham.

It still appears that fans of other football codes are having a job to cope with the success of the world cup. Imagine what they will be like come the 2017 world cup.
