I can only imagine pat richards or maybe even feldt nailing a better penalty kick than that from piggy. Had to put some serious mustard on it

I remember that game. Absolute cracker it was.
What I didn’t remember was Ben Creagh as a winger.
ben was a very scrawny thin winger from his early days, then transformed into a man monster forward beast , NRL club captain , origin, kangaroo ,winner, its amazing when you think about whats really happened
Luke Lewis from the panthers, sharks is the same, a scrawny little winger in his early days, looked what happened to him ,transformed into a beast winner of everything , in the highest standard in the rugby league world,

Ben Creagh is the only one I can recall who went from Wing to Front Row.
Lewis as you mentioned followed a similar path, but into the back Row.
Another that sticks out to me is Ruben Wiki, centre to Front Row. Wiki was already a fairly big man at centre which would have helped.

Other significant transitions?

But yes Ben Creagh was a rake in his early days on the wing, to becoming an enormous front rower. Don't know anyone who's transitioned as much as he did. Credit to him and the coaching staff who developed him into a success in the forwards, unheard of at the time.
