I dont have a dog, the cat I have is not mine, its anyones, it lives in
twenty different terrace houses
and is never without a meal or a warm bed to sleep on.
It weighs about 15 kgs, is grey and I call it Bigfella,
I have no idea what breed it is, or what it thinks, if it does.
I also have another cat called s**t , she is in the
same 20 terrace house situation as Bigfella but I
havent seen her for a month.
No hounds these days, but do have a male blue-mitted Ragdoll & a female lilac bi-colour Ragdoll cat.
I notice a few people here have Burmese, which are always good value, although I doubt that even a genial Burmese will readily let you brush its teeth.
Has anyone got, or had, an Himalayan breed???
They had a couple at the local pet shop a few weeks back and they looked like good value, although they could be a little heavy on the grooming, I suspect.
My cats are Part Burmese....but more oriental!!.....there magnificent looking animlas with tremendous personalities.....my favourite (doodles  ) jumps on my shoulder everyday i come home from work and he doesn't leave my bedroom when im home.
Yeah we had a 15 year old red setter cross blue heeler. He died last year.. He was my friend longer than any person i have known except my immediate family.
He had never been to a vet in his life until he was put down.. And even then he wouldnt die, they had to put the needle into his heart as it was so strong.. Tough old bugger.. But it was the right thing to do.. He could barely walk.
My Dogs (hind) Legs are almost gone as well. I've known him longer than any friend as well. . It really sucks, because he is otherwise perfectly healthy
