What do Australia need to change after this loss?

Quite simply we're f**ked.

If you're not going to pick any props then you've at least got to pick a back row that's going to make you metres, Beau Scott & Ryan Hoffman's performances were embarrassing.

Sam Thaiday has to the be the single luckiest player of this generation, no idea how he still makes rep sides.

As someone said, go back 3 weeks and pick a proper squad. The lack of front rowers is amazing, and then to leave out 1 is even more bewildering. If klemmer isn't up to playing test matches don't pick him in the squad.

If you're gonna play back rowers at prop, use ones who go ok there. Parker goes ok in the middle, thaiday doesn't.

This was the fastest backline we've had in ages yet they never got space to be utilized. Surely there was some attacking structures at training. ..

And DCEs defensive probs came from attackers running around Hoffman without him even getting a hand on them

With the squad theyve got I dont think they would go through some many changes.

Australia no direction after Cherry Evans came off, and no back half to replace him, but it was also the go forward which let Australia down.

Put Matt Scott and Myles in the team and maybe the scoreline would be closer.

Woods has a long way to go, and Klemmer might go ok but like Woods will have a long way to go.

You go into any game of rugby league let alone Rep level with anything less then 3 front rowers your going to struggle.

This won't change in the series. Hence we will struggle to really dominate anyone

Nightingale dropped the ball with the line open. Procter scored for it to be disallowed. So it's not like we were going well before they went off.

Australia losing every or nearly every game would actually be a pretty good long term result. Sheens would never get the gig again, Australian players might stop having a such a flippant attitude towards the international game, and other countries would probably get an increase in viewership.

Spud, you are setting yourself up for the biggest fall. I feel sorry for you. Your mob barely beat Samoa, our mob got their bums smacked. I know who'll be angrier next week.

It's strange because when England nearly knocked off Australia in Cardiff at the World Cup opener it was all 'first game we've come in cold' and 'rusty from no warm up games' etc. 'we'll be better for that'

England land in Australia just over a week before the tournament with no games at all for 11 months and struggle against Samoa yet seemingly have no improvement in them at all.

Tim Sheens... One prop and then plays Inglis when he was obviously not fit to play.
