I expect him to play halfback.
Think you're setting your expectations a bit high there.
I expect him to play halfback.
steering the team around the park means driving a car with his teammates in the back and turning regularly. this should occur in a parkSpecifically, I mean what do you expect from Sandow on the field. Obviously there is a lot of speculation about his conduct off the field, and I'm sure we all have the same hopes for him in that area.
So how much do you expect Sandow to perform next year , and what kind of role do you see him playing? How do you think he'll be used (hidden?) in defence? What will he contribute to the team?
If your answer includes variations of 'steering the team around the park', 'controlling the team', 'organising', etc., what does this mean to you?
controlling the team means relentlessly txting the other players at all hours, fits of jealously and threats of violence
I pacifically said on the field. I was very pacific on that point.
strange method of rehab but if that's your go.I expect Sandow to play every game next year unless injured or selected in a rep side. (We've screwed if he gets injured...).
I'm confused now. Do I hope for the best for the Eels and that Sandow stays injury free, even though knowing that if Sandow gets injured it means I've been "on the job"?(We've screwed if he gets injured...).
For mine, the interesting thing is how Hayne handles playing second fiddle (playmaker) with Sandow there.
He is used to calling the shots and getting it whenever he wants.
In SOO and City Country, he looked lost when not the chief playmaker or not getting the ball when he wanted.
It will be interesting how he and Sandow will blend.
I think you are going to see a completely different side to the side that went 1 pass off the ruck for 5 and kick on the last that we saw last year & Sandow is a key ingridient to that!
Let's hope so. And maybe a team that doesn't hit up after a half break but looks to expose the defence. Or uses three hit ups to set up for a second man play they have rehearsed and tried so many times before that the defence knows it is coming and shuts it down.
I hope he'll bring lots of inside passes to a man already marked by the opposition's forward pack, centres and fullbackLet's hope so. I like Chris and as a footballer he has many talents. However, having watched many of his performances for Souths, I think you will be dissapointed if you expect repeat sets and consistant pressure applied when in good attacking position.Hopefully he will do the same things he did this year goal kicking, 40/20, try assists, field goals, repeat sets ... Not asking for much ...
