According to LiveScore, Dortmund played 2 times today... granted that one team has an (Am) next to their name. In fact, a few of the German teams have it. What does (Am) mean?

Oh ok, thanks. Does this mean that because Dortmund were out on CL duties, that their reserve club played in the main league, representing them? It's their Amateur reserve club. I'm guessing Amini would've played in that match.
Reserve clubs in Germany, Spain, and France amongst others, play in their country's lower divisions.
Reverve clubs in Germany can't go higher than the 3rd level. In France it's the 4th level, while in Spain it's 2nd division. Both Barcelona B and Real Madrid B are currently in Spain's 2nd Division. Villarreal B was too, but when the main team got relegated last season, Villarreal B was automatically relegated to the 3rd division.
(Happens in Australia too - CCM's Academy side is playing in the NSW Premier League)
It's an idea that Benitez suggested for England when he was Liverpool coach but it was shot down pretty quickly.
Thanks - I should've noted that.It says Bundesliga III, which is the third tier.
Obviously? OBVIOUSLY I didn't know which is OBVIOUSLY why I asked!Amateure, as in the reserve team. Obviously.
I guess we just expected more from you. You know Barca II, Real Madrid II in Segunda Division? Same concept...Thanks - I should've noted that.

Mate, I know II, you're right, but I didn't know what (Am) meant... I thought they would've used II as well.I guess we just expected more from you. You know Barca II, Real Madrid II in Segunda Division? Same concept...
