If the cute fat kid from Hey Dad knocks on your door, the book in his hand probably isn't a script for his next toilet paper commercial. Matthew Krok - or Elder Krok as he is now known - has embarked on a new career as a Mormon missionary. He is living and missionising in Echuca, in Victoria, with his partner Elder Kendall Asper from Syracuse, Utah, the Riverine Herald reports. Krok has begun a two-year stint as a fully ordained missionary praying and proselytising for 15 hours a day, six days a week in north-east Victoria and southern NSW. Krok, 21, told the paper his new life involves no dates, no television, no movies and no smoking or drinking - and he loves it.

"I feel as though I have the best job in the world sharing the good news of Jesus Christ's restored gospel," he said. "I've been blessed with those things and I want to share them. That's why I'm not doing television commercials right now. I'm not memorising and speaking the lines from a TV script. This is for real."
