there are many things that frustrate me at the moment.
E.g, at the begining and half way through the season, when we were inside the opp 20, we would do the run around play and soward/hornby would through a pass onto a hard running back rower and they would go in and score. f**k. I havent seen it for at least 5 weeks. WHY?

Second to that is, we dont have any set combos happening. Every play is prioritised for GAZ. He cant roam for sh*t. Its not his fault cause coach brown eye is setting the sh*t. but ffs, play him in the centres and give him a nice cut out and walla. he takes care of the rest. What an awesome way to give him a send off. Playing a utility roll.

Finally. WE ARE A TEAM OF GREAT PLAYERS. Yes thats right. I believe the current team can win a GF. Our problem is we are not a a GREAT TEAM. The players are awesome individualy, BUT FFS you cant win the GF as individuals. We need to play as a team.

Anyway.what frustrates you guys most.

The pathetic lack of killer instinct. We had the Scum on a platter last week yet fundamental errors let them back into the game. How is Chase Stanley still in 1st Grade? He's deadset ordinary at best. We should have beaten: Parra, Cowboys, Scum (x2) and the Raiders game down here in Canberra. A team like Melbourne wouldn't have lost those games.

I think we're in some trouble now... go back a month and we were looking at finishing in 6th at worst.. now 7th or 8th may just be our best case scenario-and a road trip to either Melbourne or Brookie in week 1.

i am completely and utterly frustrated with the amount of penalties we are conceding and the lack of penalties that are coming our way.

Not saying its all the refs fault, but ffs not square of the marker should have been called validly like 6 times tonight.

not to mention soward just about losing his head and not getting the penalty for it.,

One thing is clear... No matter what happens, our current 1st grade team doesn't have what it takes to win a comp.
I was so optimistic going into last and this week.
We'll be lucky if we just make up the numbers.
Our great club continues to wollow on the rocks.
Until "Mentor" Bennett gets here, this is our reality - Average at best.
Another "waisted year" and counting... I was so optimistic. But Now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chase Stanley at dummy half (in our own half) ignores Soward's open side call to give the ball to Scott on the blind with less than 1 metre to the sideline.

If Scott called for it, he deserves shooting as well.

Most of our penalties were bullsh*t square ups and the tigers were mostly piggy backs out of their 20m zone.

What frustrates me most???

So many things that would take me to long to type, in short:

Dumb penalties and errors from the same group of players every week.

Inconsistant reffing.

Browns coaching most of the time, dum tactics especially with gaz over the last 2 years and the players he sticks with (Chase Stanley etc).

The poor mental state and skill level of our players as soon as pressure is on us we choke, its been happening for the last 20 years or so.

Peter Doust and the Dragons board.

The whole bloody mentality of just using home grown talent and not ever buying any players of any quality, sh*t other clubs fans laugh at us! We should have a nice even mix just like all of the successfull clubs do!

Also players we lose vs players we keep (Luke Bailey, Fitzgibbon and Tallis etc).

And finally our clubs losing Culture plz Bennett change it!!!

The loss to the Scum would've been pretty deflating. The players are probably already thinking towards next year...

You do realise 2 were given after the siren, and there was 1 more in the last 3 minutes.
5-1 in the first 26 minutes to you, certainly helped your cause.

Saints played terribly, and once again we beat ourselves.
The opposition haven't beaten us, we have beaten us.

Let me check the competition table though....hmmmm...Dragons still > then the Tigers.

The overall destruction of the great game of rugby league in Aus. It started with the Super League V NSWRL war. Greedy business people wanting to make heaps of money. Don't no why it worked with cricket and not league.

Introducing a team in a non league heartland to maximize profits for some corporate companies to recoup there losses due to the war. MEL has basically lead the comp for the last two years and they can only get aprox 12,000 people for their home games. Most Victorians don't give a rats ass about league. If STG/ILL were in the same position, we wouldn't be playing games at ANZ for this year, we would be playing there for a few years as OKI/Jub would have to be bulldozed and replaced with a ground the size of the SFS.

The salary cap, it has evened up the comp, however it makes it impossible for some clubs to keep players that have been targeted and developed for the good of that club.
Players are offered inflated salaries to move to other clubs that are unable to develop their own. STG/ILL have no choice other than to pay massive salaries for the top players, thus unable to keep a competitive 17 players and when injuries hit, you are just not competitive. You are also seeing players playing first grade when they are not ready. I don't agree with no salary cap, but there has to be a better way.

The games rules/video ref needs to overhauled. Look at last night, Brett Stuart was penalised total BS, it was a try. The dogs won a game against us last year with an unfair strip and the offside rule when a player in in front of the kicker and takes to part in the play is a joke.

STG/ILL ability to lose by 2 points, after being behind by 20.

Never getting the rub of the green ever. Must be a 11 in a row thing.

I wouldn't mind seeing a grand final win before I die.

The media or anyone else on this earth, other than Dragon people actually saying the Dragons lose a game because of injuries.

Our Halves is the major problem.

Sorry to say but we have not had a decent player in the halves since Barrett.

With players like Gasnier, Cooper, Morris Boys, Nightingale, Stanley etc there is no excuse why we should not have one of the best attacks in the league.

Our halves produce the same stupid plays and kicks every game.

Whether thats there fault or Browny's im not sure. Probably Browny's.

the silly giving away of penalties kills me in the soul. last night was a bloody disgrace. they fixed their discipline for a few weeks and thats when they started winning, now the bad habits are back into place.

i dont have any hope for this year anymore. bring on 2009.

Kiki our fearless leader a la gaz, kept it running like a well oiled machine.... NOT.

Piss off you gaz you wanker, keeping you on the team is like flogging a dead horse.

Theres a little bloke who shows passion week in and week out, he is my new idol and rightly so. Jamie Soward you are the man! Gaz is a pretender

I f**ken guarantee that if gaz plays at right centre and they throw him some decent passes he will kill any defence.

the only person to blame in this whole club is Brown for using such gutless coaching methods. Seriously. Have some balls and make some decissions. He needs to drop some people and thats part of life. His issue is he has no balls to do it.

I can't believe people are putting sh*t on Gasnier.

F*ck me... the entire team played crap & we're expecting him to make a line-break with 3 players in front of him.

He had a go... what more do you want.

Stanley??????? That guy is sh*t! So overrated and Gaz is one of his biggest fans, what does that say about being overrated coming from the king. I have never seen him do sh*t, where do you get the idea he can play, let alone attack? He is slow, is a poor defender and can't hold the bloody ball! He needs to be dropped asap!
