Been jamming Far Car 5 recently cause it was 90% off on Steam.
Really enjoying it, but I for some reason, I can't play long stints at a time. I tend to jump in, do maybe 3 missions then move on to something else.

That aside, I've also been playing Cricket 24. Had to adjust the sliders to make bowling ever so slightly easier, and batting a touch harder

Xmas time so the oldies will come out.

Red Dead Revolver (Or 1 if you think of it that way). It's not an amazing game but the story is a bit of fun and it had some unique things about it. It's totally forgotten as the sequels were ground breaking.

Been thinking about this one for years, worth it?

Ive been playing Dredge on the switch, very easy to play and highly addictive
If you like fall out but in space, yeah it’s worth it. Lots of space sci fi references and people have called it Firefly: the video game.

Tom Clancy’s The Division and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands. Just downloaded the first a couple days back and haven’t played yet but Recon Wildlands plays like an open world shooter and is a bit confusing.

PlayStation plus was a godsend.

Played both of these and I think Wildlands is a much better game. Loved the open world and options on how to take out enemy bases. Not perfect but I loved playing it with friends.

My 2025 list of games being played:

Hell Let Loose:

Great WW2 FPS with a lot of historical nostalgia. It’s not Call of Duty or Battlefield, so you can’t just run and gun. It’s reliant on teamwork and communication. Online community is mostly great to play online with. It takes time to understand all of the tactics, mechanics and roles but once you get familiar with it all, it’s great fun.

Arma Reforger:

Similar to Hell Let Loose but based on Modern Warfare. It’s going to get a lot better as the mods are unlocked but coming from ARMA III, it’s a nice mil-sim for those on console.

Flight Simulator 2024:

As a private pilot, this is my go to. It’s beautiful and whilst buggy, it’s a whole new game now. Careers, training modules, environments and game modes are a lot of fun.

Manor Lords:

Imagine Age of Empires cross cities skyline. The detail, graphics and mechanics are addictive. You have to build settlements, defend and run your economy. It has trade functions, farming, warfare and politics. The seasonal changes and challenges presented by the environment and resources is very detailed. It’s still early access but it’s very playable and is forever improving. Looks and feels like a AAA title but without the micro transactions and community focused development.

I am fortunate because I have invested a lot into gaming PCs, simulator rigs and consoles which gives me a lot of choice. I basically live in a big man cave nowadays and have focused a lot on trying out the smaller developers and titles. Ive found a lot of quality games which I’ll share more on shortly.

I just finished "Killer Frequency", a free indie game on PSN this month.

Highly, highly, highly recommend it - I've never played anything quite like it before.

It's a first-person narrative game, set in a fictional US town in the 80's, with a serial killer on the loose.

You play a radio show host, who has to solve puzzles to save people's lives.

It's was an awesome experience.

Was also playing "Kill The Justice League".

I found it very fun - until the game decided to erase my progress after sinking 20+ hours into it.

I hate this era of "always online" games.
