Has to be decided on the day - Replaying GFs is stupid
The '77 replay was the following Saturday.I went to the Sharks V Manly and the Parra V St George drawn GF's.
Both of those games were played on the next Tuesday.
Should really be played the next Sunday for teams to be recharged.
You know what, I like the fact that Golden Point has been scrapped, but I don't like the new system. Two lots of extra time (5 mins each way as per usual golden point) and then the same again.
If its still a draw, then I believe it one of the following two options
1) rematch in a week
2) the team with the better premiership record for the season is deemed the winner, if they are equal, then it goes to points differential, then tries scored.

The '78 replay had to be played on the Tuesday because the Kangaroos were flying out for England later that week.

Disappointed it hasn't been done yet:
And if no clear winner emerges from all of this, a two-man sack race will be held on consecutive Sundays until a champion can be crowned.
A few years ago in Rugby, one particular game in England still finished a draw in extra time, they went for a goal shoot out.
Perhaps the opposition team should chose the goal kicker, ie .Roosters pick George Rose.
I think a measure of Occam's Razor should apply.
Simply put, just stick to the method that the players are used to playing under in the competition rounds.
What happens if it's 0-0 at half-time and it's raining?
did it get the boot as talked about here? http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/...e-system-likely-to-linger-20111130-1o75u.html
