Big cleanout of all the support staff (Roycee and co), move Todd and his bike pants up to assistant coach and get Mathew Head in charge of the u20s,with the view of a Payten/Head team to take over First Grade in a couple of years.

Both players had excellent football brains, where I see Potter as a strong character, I dont see him having a great football brain. I dont like to put the boot into Potter, because their is no way you could judge him harshly on what he was given to take over, but my gut feeling Payten/Head would be more dynamic.

Drastic time require drastic actions

Out with the old. Anything sheens. Skando, Royce, McDonald etc.
Potter needs a chance without being threatened or pulled by factions within the club.

I said from the beggining that sheens would use his powers to poison the club and undermine potter. Its happening.

Need a smart, no nonsense coach (Hasler, Bennett, hell, even Brian Smith knows how to turn a club around)

This doesn't necessarily answer your question; but what I'd like to see is the club purchase a couple of forwards in the mould of Bruce (pigdog) Maguire. There will no doubt be a few old enough to remember him.

Took the ball up twice in a set and made four or five tackles per set in defence. Ran as hard as he could every time and hit like the hammer of Thor when defending....well that is what my jaded memory of him can recall.

Seriously we need some mongrel in our pack. Hard workers and no primadonas like we seem to attract. I don't see many of the lower grade games but gee, there must be some young guys in the local Campbelltown comp that can be developed.

I like blokes that put in for 80 minutes week after week and never seem to be injured....Jeremy Smith and Ryan Hoffman type players. They have to be out there somewhere.

Well, you did ask what would I like to see....

Maguire...there was a hard nut, most likely didn't get the accolades and attention he deserved considering the other big names that were in the pack at the time.

What I would like to see, just to get off the depressing subject of our NRL woes, is some refereeing consistency......anyone think Waerea-Hargreaves deserved to be sent off last night???? Even the onfield ref sounded surprised

I'd like a 14" c**k and a Ferrari Marinello in the garage.

I reckon my wishes are more likely to come true than your's Supercoach

Pistol Pete, we prayed to every god known to get Sheens out of the place and that worked, even if it was about six years to late, but your probably right, Wayne Swan has more chance of getting us back to a surplus and thats a million to one

Apparently the people on 2UE last week said Mick Potter was looking to release Adam Blair, Ben Murdoch-Masila and Joel Reddy to free up cash to buy some quality forwards.

Sounds like a rumour started by someone based on what they think needs to happen.

I hope this one has substance though

Out of those three, Ben Murdoch-Masila has the most potential. But I think if those 2/3 others were released it would make most of the Tigers fan base happy. Mind you, I don't have a problem with Reddy, he isn't as bad as people make him out to be. At least he is safe under a high ball, for the most part, unlike Matt Utai.

Reddy can leap as high as anybody in the NRL for the ball only problem is he doesn't always cleanly catch the ball.He often knocks it,drops it or like last week completely missed it.Does any one know if he wears glasses? To his credit at least he tries to compete for high ball.

How can we just release guys on big money? We'd still have to wear the cap hit, no? It'd ok if we could get clubs to take these guys on, but no one this side of Arkham Asylum would take Blair on at his current $$$ clip.

As for what I'd like - same as Matchball, a clear out of all the old football staff. Our strength and conditioning coach that's guided us to a pummelling week after week for years, our recruitment manager that signs 30+ yos in looking to the future...

Actually, I'd just like Humphreys to call McDonnell into his office and plonk this week's team sheet in front of him, with a big PLEASE EXPLAIN at it's foot, just to watch him squirm.

Spot on. Everyone says release this player and that player but unless someone wants them it is not feasible. And let's face it, no sane club would want a bar of the players that we should be trying to offload.

All football staff except Potter, Payten, Fletcher and Mathew Head need to be given the arse. This includes all strength and conditioning coaches, fitness etc. etc. and basically anyone who was hired by Sheens.

Who is on big dollars? Benji's contract is in the process of being renegotiated, Farah is probably worth more than what he's being paid. If a player is on overs and not putting in, surely they could be shopped to other clubs for reduced rates with the Tigers topping up the difference if the club was that desperate to get rid of them. What would you blokes prefer, paying Blair $600k a year to play for the Tigers or paying him $350k a year to play against the Tigers?
