Take out a few years of Covid, I think you will find that the Warriors are the most followed and have the largest financial turnover of all NZ sports clubs.

Having returned to NZ, they are just resuming their position.

If you looked at the year on--year numbers I reckon you'd find that that has been the case for maybe 4-5 seasons of the Warriors existence. When they're struggling they have a diehard following of 11-12K. When they go well that has historically boosted uup to 16-20. If there's a serious buzz like this year or finals run that goes to 20-23K which is basically capacity at Mt Smart. TV numbers would track pretty similarly.
