You guys are setting yourselves up for disappointment overhyping Chrissy so much

If he was the player you all think Souths would be far more dominant

If we were Souths, then we might be stupid for overhyping him so much.

But we're a footy team with the absolute worst halfback ever to lace on the boots (Robson) - and when he's unavailable we're worse....

Losing 6 games inside the last minute = fair reason for hope if we just had a halfback who could generate SOMETHING isn't it?

We are running last ATM, we know disappointment. But you following Souths would be an expert as well, we haven't had a half back since T Smith went of the deep end so thanks for that :) Keep death riding the kid but the facts are without him your season would have been all over weeks ago.

Cayless - QLD - 2nd best prop at time
Wagon - QLD - Another average maybe jsut above average player
Hindmarsh - NSW/ AUS- 2nd best second rower at time(behind tallis)
I.Hindamrsh - average first grader
Solomona - NZ- had a great year-average player
Ryan - NSW/ AUS - Dropped the ball that may of changed the momentum of the grand final
Brad drew- Average first grader-Had a god year..

Most of there REP honours came cause they played so well as a team. You look back and Newcastle had better players or should i say there players had better careers.A lot of our players lived off the 2001 reputation and never reproduced that form again

I was thinking Friday night, is Thurston the best halfback to play the game without winning a premiership?

I know he won one with the Dogs BUT he was on the bench and not in the halves! Since being at the Cowboys he made the GF in his first year and they have bordered on ok to very average since.

The record books will show he won a premiership but it won't say it wasn't at halfback.

Anyways, rep honors or no rep honors, doesn't mean you will or won't win a premiership!

All true Korny.

In 2004 Thurston would come off the bench to play at 6 with Anasta shifting to play as an edge forward.

Anyway, don't rule out the Cowboys winning the comp this year. Melbourne should be strong favourites but they're beatable.

If you were a player with a long career you would most likely win a premiership.

First rule would be to steer clear of clubs who are never going to win one like Cronulla, Souths, Parra, Cowboys, Titans or Warriors. If you can do this then you're half way there.

He's not the right player for Souths. You guys have too many attacking stars and not enough workers. So you waste him in atack and struggle to carry him in defence.

We've got loads of workers and only one star, so Sandow can have as much ball as he likes and we'll also be able to hide him defensively.

He's just a better fit for Parra. It's good that both clubs and Sandow will be happy next year. It's a win-win-win situation. Thanks.
Is that right?

It was last year when we had good defence.

Did you notice Sandow set up our only try tonight? He's also scored three already this year.

We've got problems that are nothing to do with Sandow. He's been one of the few shining lights for us this year.

He was also the direct cause of many tries and line breaks made against you tonight. Nothing has changed, he'll have three scored against him for every opportunity he makes and it doesn't help that he looks completely disinterested.

I get it, you're still in the honeymoon period. You'll get over that soon.

Halfbacks aren't in the team for their defence. Otherwise we would've kept Jeff Robson.
