What is better: Friday 6pm or Sunday 6pm

A lot of clubs and pubs have their Friday night meat raffles within that 6 till 8:00 p.m. timeslot.

A bit hard to watch the league and concentrate on the draw at the same time when you have been knocking them back since 4:00 p.m...hick!!

6pm Friday is great.

If my team is playing I'll be there with my kids.

If not my team, I'll watch it at the pub after work or at home with the kids... wife can have a night out and I'll rack up the brownie points!

I don't mind the idea of Friday night 6pm kickoffs.

Good for families with kids. Yes it won't work well for everyone but hey better than Monday night football and possibly better than Sunday 6pm football.

Will the games be on Fox or 9?

i like the idea of both -
6pm Fridays
- I find myself waiting for the 8pm game wishing it would start earleir now I get a another game to watch to build up to the one I yoused to be waiting for.
- will do just as good as Monday night games tv ratings wise. The only difference is the game will be more exposed to more ppl at pubs.
- crowd wise won't do any worse then Monday night games if not might improve with the warriors playing 8pm at home & 6pm AEST & seriously when have the warriors last had a home Friday night game.

I think both time slots are crap.

If forced to choose though, I'd take the 6pm Sunday one as the lesser of two evils. At least you do not have to rush from work to get to the game, and you can watch any lower grade game which is scheduled which if you are rushing from work to a 6pm Friday game you more than likely won't be able to do.

6pm Sunday. Fox can have a Super Sat and Super Sunday. Far better then some petty pretend TV war with ch 9

I'm fine with it being on tv at 6pm on a Sunday
Just not if it means I'm having to take my kids out to the game.
It turns into a pretty late night for them.

The option would be there to take them if you wish. Friday 6pm many many don't have that option hell most will miss the game fullstop

For me Friday 6pm works better. But I start and finish early at my job. It would almost certainly be better for most people to have the Sunday 6pm time slot.

I really love a beer with the footy. and if you have a 4pm and 6pm Sunday game.. thats a fair few beers to be waking up at 5am the next day.

The Saturday 3.30pm games are the worst.

I wish to take them...they absolutely love the footy.
But it's getting late for a Sunday night.
They go to bed at 7.45 on school nights.
Friday's is shit for the fact it's makes it hard to get to.
I don't think the 6pm game will last long

Social trends are moving towards watching sports on crappy 5.5 inch mobile phone screens which can be used anywhere with a data connection and the right subscriptions. So what's the problem with 6pm Friday nights ;)

Dont know how its good for families with kids

School finishes at 3pm you miss the u20s and or RG matches fighting with peak hour traffic only to just get to your seat

We need more Sunday football easily
