Rumours that Balmain are broke and the Wests side of the franchise are in revolt.

http://forums.leagueunlimited.com/showthread.php?t=410854

The CEO Humphrey's apparently lying about being in negotiations with Farrah in an email to members.

http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sp...ks-news-to-farah/story-e6frexnr-1226481927558

Beau Ryan being promised contacts that never appear in front of him to sign. (CH9 interview) Where does this breakdown in communication blame lay? The board or the Sheens

Stories of Benji running the club not Sheens

Sheens being forced into stepping aside and obviously under pressure to leave so the club board (Humphrey's) does not have to honour his contract.

The Moltzen saga - How much of that was the young lads fault rather than Humphrey or the west's tigers club?

Long standing issues of the Campbelltown side of the merger being overpowered by the old Balmain mob.

Respected players like Bryce Gibbs, Andrew Fifita, Chris Heighington, Beau Ryan and Ayshford being punted. Is Benji taking up too much of the salary cap?

The reports of a divided dressing room

Seriously guys WTF is going on?

Meh

We have finally got rid of a stale coach and let go of a few average clubman.

Good riddance. Most Tigers fans are happy.

Yeah I'm sure most Tigers supporters are stoked they've booted blokes like Gibbs, Fifita, Heighington and Beau Ryan for the likes of Adam Blair and Braith Anasta...

And Brent "halfback" Kite if the rumour mills are working as intended

Chris Heighington added in a loss column for the Tigers? Do people watch him play? Losing Beau sucks, but the two U20's players wingers this week are the future, and both have much more upside than Beau. And Tim Sheens being gone is amazing. Blair sucks but who knows under a new coach? He at least has shown talent before and is not over 30.

He's right. The only real loss was Gibbs, who was becoming injury prone. Blair has been a pretty dud buy so far but I think he was being overcoached. Fifita is a boofhead and the Sharks can have him. The Tigers won SG Ball, made reggies GF, made 20's GF. We still have Farah and Marshall are marquee playmakers, that's way more than most teams can claim (Storm aside). We've now got room for some of our young champion rookies to lay a claim for first grade. We've still got Chris Lawrence, Aaron Woods, Adam Blair, Keith Galloway who are all internationals or thereabouts. Heighington has been poor for years. Beau Ryan is a loss for morale and exposure but as far as on the field, Koroibete scored 7 tries in 5 games. Ryan has scored 40 in like 110. Utai was better than Ryan this year too. Then Nofoaluma, Grant and Simona are also younger and faster than him. I don't think Ryan is an on field loss.

To put it bluntly, the Tigers are in a better position now, coachless, than they were at the end of last year after coming off a prelim final.

Well maybe not happy. But cautiously optimistic. Well most of us that follow things closely. I'm sure casual fans are cut up that Sheens, Ryan and Heighno are gone.

I keep hearing Wests are not happy they don't get any notable players in NSW Cup and are tired of getting pumped. They are the ones putting most of the money into the club with Balmain struggling.

Wests need to deal with it. For years they were the strugglers while Balmain provided most of the goods. Hell Balmain own the license and Balmain could have stood alone and let the Maggies fold.

The club has no soul any more, they've f**ked it up.

They've shown scant loyalty to players and they could care less about the fans, especially those in the Macarthur area who can probably look forward next season to Canberra and Penrith again (good job trying to manufacture those rivalries you spastics), and sweet f**k-all chance of seeing Manly, Souths, Cronulla, Canterbury or Saints play at Campbo.

Since 2005, Campbo has had Penrith 4 times and every other Sydney team a combined total of 5 times. Manly and Souths have never played the Tigers at Campbelltown.

Non-Sydney teams have played 15 times.

To be fair, it aint much better at Leichhardt, but it is better.

And then the cherry on top, the Magpies, after being given the shaft player-wise, are about to be given the shaft, existence-wise.

If the Tigers folded tomorrow, I wouldn't shed a tear.

Balmain are also folding. Why is it such a big deal that Wests are but not Balmain?

Balmain aren't folding, whilst ever the Wests Tigers exist, Balmain exist.

Did Balmain cease to exist when they tried to whore themselves out as the Sydney Tigers?

Oh, because you were a Maggies fan. So stfu because your opinion is bias.

And your opinion isn't biased?

Of course it is yet you get to yap on like a dog with two heads and two severe concussions?

Try telling me what part of my post isn't factual.

That is putting a positive spin on it

I cant remember the last time Souths or Manly played at Leichhardt either...

And Leichhardt always gets the Warriors and Melbourne each year as part of their four games...

The fact that they still play games at SFS is a joke, along with the NRL draw that seems to ensure that the Tigers only get a home game against Manly once every three years...

I said Leichhardt was almost as bad, and it is almost as bad.

The Tigers have never played the Dogs at Leichhardt.

10 v Sydney teams since 2005, 14 v non-Sydney.

All fans are being treated with contempt.

That's where the real problem lies. They're simply giving the SFS the prime matches and the odd local away team to Leichhardt and Campbo to mask what they're doing which is ignoring what the fans who go to either (or both) actual home ground want to see.

If Dogs/Tigers was played at Leichardt there'd be 15-20k shut out. Fans would be complaining and the club would get less money. How would that be better for anyone?

Whether they want to admit or not, Bryce Gibbs was a massive loss for the Tigers... It is not simply the on-field work that he gets through, but also the off field morale he brings. A lot of Cronulla's success this year stems from the general closeness of the playing group which centred around Gibbs.

Fifita was another loss, though he started to not be committed at the Tigers. However, at the Sharks he has been motivated and was consistently improving throughout the 2012 season and was one of our most damaging players.

I think Ryan and Heighington will be big losses to the Tigers, not just on-field but a lot of the off field stuff around the club.

The Tigers at the moment just seem to be disjointed. They need to be firm and committed in action. The problem is, seemingly, no one knows in what direction they are headed and every decision seems to be out of nowhere and ad hoc.
