Players come and players go at any club. It is the MANNER in which some of these players have been treated that seems more of a concern.

Balmain aren't folding, whilst ever the Wests Tigers exist, Balmain exist.

Did Balmain cease to exist when they tried to whore themselves out as the Sydney Tigers?

And your opinion isn't biased?

Of course it is yet you get to yap on like a dog with two heads and two severe concussions?

Try telling me what part of my post isn't factual.

The part I just bolded for one. Absolute load of crap.

Were there complaints when they merged with Ryde-Eastwood?? No one from their side seems to be making a noise about balmain going next year.

This is my point. Despite being initially the stronger of the two sides of the JV and the owner of the license, Balmain have accepted the Wests Tigers while the Magpies have bitched and moaned about everything.

If Dogs/Tigers was played at Leichardt there'd be 15-20k shut out. Fans would be complaining and the club would get less money. How would that be better for anyone?

Why would there automatically be a shut out?

What do you base that on, they've never actually played the Wests Tigers there.

The point is that for Leichhardt to never have held a Tigers v Dogs game or for Campbelltown to never have held a Tigers v Souths or Tigers v Manly game is ridiculous.

Which of the JV's NSW Cup sides is playing in the GF this weekend?

Any idea why?

Come on, you can do it. If you don't know the answer, ask your carer for assistance, that's what they're there for.

I have barely said a word about this until recently, what kicked off my disgust and made me look into it further was the decision to punt the 'Pies from the NSW Cup.

Ask yourself if the decision had been to axe only the BRET side from NSW Cup, would you be happy?

Tigers have got 19k against the Bulldogs the last 3 years and 17k the year before that. Leichardt holds at least 20k because that is the crowd they got against the Roosters this year so it could be done. People would be shut out because more people would want to go to Leichardt then SFS but you would still get more people then if it was played at the SFS. Plus it would rate well on Channel 9 because they love to show the Tigers at Leichardt and they would actually promote the game really well.

Would love to see it in heritage week. Put the Tigers in the old Balmain jersey and the Dogs in their 80's jersey and it would be epic

Question for Tigers fans. Are they playing as BRET or Wests Tigers in NSW Cup next year?

I thought that was old news?

Other than on these boards has there been any rumours that the JV has issues? Shit if Dean Ritchie, Danny Weed etc. aren't even speculating made up bullshit about it, then it must be very UNDER the radar.

Never said automatically, but the fact that both are two of Sydney's bigger clubs and 30k+ should be very achievable, particularly when both are going well (as it happened this year). Wait for the uproar if a game like that sells out at Leichardt when there's a 40k stadium up the road.

How much would Melbourne/Cowboys/Titans draw at the SFS?

Campbelltown is another matter. That venue definitely deserves a more even spread of games. Gan see the logic of Penrith getting regular games but Manly never playing there is particularly stupid given the history between the clubs.

We are going through a massive shift and it needed to happen for the betterment of the club long term.

Firstly Gibbs was a massive loss. However the upside of this move was that it thrust Woods into a big minutes role and he is superior to Bryce in every way. If Gibbs was still around and Sheens was the coach Wods would most likely play the Junior Moors role on the bench with sweet FA minutes which would hinder his developement.

Fifita I dont really care about. The guy is a dick plus he is on massive overs at the Sharks. I rate BMM as a bette rprospect and there are two 21 year olds running around for BRET in the Grand Final who I think have a real shot at making the grade next year in Seumanufagai & Naiyaravaro.

Beau Ryan had a good year but I have said before he left that maybe it says more about how poorly we went as a playing group that he was the standout rather then what a asset he is as a player.

Heighno, well he was a loyal servant and I don't want to sledge the guy but I feel Matt Bell did his role better then he did when presented with the opportunity and 2013 was his last year regardless IMHO as he has lost much of his impact. The change of clubs may just revitalise him though.

The recruitment has been ok. Braith is a worry but reality is we need someone to do all the dogshit work and let Farah and in particular Marshall free to play a bit off the cuff without throwing the team entirely off kilter. Pettybourne I rate as a hard runner but has qustionable hands. Bodene I think could be a revelation but time will tell.

There is a lot of real talent in the lower grades.

On the subject of the lower grade mess. I firmly believe a Wests Tigers reserve grade team is the best way forward for the club with Balmain & Western Suburbs maintaining their Junior Rep sides, part of the agreement proposed is to give Western Suburbs sole administrative control of their side at that level back.

I think it would be wise to enter both a Magpies and Tigers side in the Bundy Red cup for surplus players from NSW Cup to be divided on locality between the sides.

The rest in terms of CEO, media etc I have no real concern with as no matter what the truth is always in the middle somewhere when talking about any of those folk

That is my piece

That isn't the point. As has been pointed out, most of the recent crowds they've pulled v the Dogs wouldn't have filled Leichhardt.

But to never have played them at Leichhardt is ridiculous.

How much would Melbourne/Cowboys/Titans draw at the SFS?

Who cares?

I'm sure that people who go to Leichhardt would prefer to see the Dogs than the Storm and I'm even more sure that the people who go to Campbelltown would prefer to see Manly or Souths than any of those 3 teams.

It wasn't the fans that decided to have 3 home grounds but they're the one's suffering because of that decision.

Campbelltown is another matter. That venue definitely deserves a more even spread of games. Gan see the logic of Penrith getting regular games but Manly never playing there is particularly stupid given the history between the clubs.

Penrith don't draw dick to Campbelltown, some of the Tigers worst crowds there are v Penrith. Ask anyone who is a regular at Campbelltown and they'll probably say that Canberra are the team the Wests Tigers have a "rivalry" with.

You're spot on about Manly, the Wests v Manly thing had been going since the 1970's so for them to never have played a game against Manly at Campbelltown is particularly galling.

What a terrible club. Too many egos and not enough substance. When are they going to realise that Benji is a 'once-a-season' myth and stop paying him 70% of the salary cap every season.

No wonder the players all have the shits. You clowns better pray that there is truth to perpetual rumour that if Sheens goes, Benji goes or else you just spent a fortune getting rid of a small part of the problem, rather than the whole problem.
