life?.... it says ask anything....like to see u answer that

according to an article written about Sam Newman that I had the displeasure of reading (I was bored okay). He was asked this question and he said that the meaning of life is to occupy yourself until you die.

Brief-but to the point. The meaning of life is to continue life-ie produce more life. That's about it.

so just try to hit it as many times as possible before you die

This thread could get philosophical....and I might just kick start it. What's to say this isn't the main life? Rather then going to an after life, perhaps we're in a pre life to prepare us for the after life?? Like heaven, or hell, or some other place? I kinda believe this and i kinda don't, I believe in going to heaven being catholic, but I'm not about it all though...

this is the one and only life. The only life your involved in once you've died is the life of the insects that eat away at your rotting corpse. I've spoken at lengths about this issue and it seems that I am the only non-religious person here, which means that I've got argue against everyone else.................BRING IT ON!

People say that existence of heaven can't be proved. Although people have "died" and "went to" some place with a bright light and tunnel etc and then were able to be revived again and it completley changed their life and the way they look at life. So, I do beleive that something exists but our minds just can't comprehend it.

That only happens because these people believe in the afterlife and heaven far too much. When the time comes they end up doing this because it's what is implanted in their heads to do. It's a dream-your unconcious-how can you be going anywhere? Do you believe all your dreams is actually a reality as well, that they are all true? Please.

I know what you saying but on this show there was this guy who was a bikie and killed a person. Anyway, several years later, something happened (like got shot or something) and he "died" but was able to be revived again. He told how he went into an afterlife. It totally changed his life and he stopped being involved with bikie gangs and crime and started going to church all the time and being a good person etc etc. Previously he had nothing to do with religion (probably even despised it).
