Today, I saw a team playing with the same philosophy that they did in 2000. The power game worked for the Broncos that year, but it seems to me that the Broncos are not changing with the times.
The Broncos have some bloody good forwards, but they run one-out all the damn time. The Bronco forwards don't seem to have ball-playing ability in them either.
Lockyer is a good 5/8th, but an outstanding fullback. He should go back there in 2006. Hunt will need to find a new position and the Broncs will need to find a playmaker, but they need to do it.
Brett Seymour doesn't seem to cut the mustard at the Broncs. I thought Ben Walker was playing better footy at Souths than Seymour is atm. Maybe, the Broncs need to look at Chris Sheppard / Adam Dykes.
Broncs management should focus on ball-playing in the forwards this off-season. Some of their forwards are way too bulky and get tired quickly.
