I learned not to worry about what reviews say a looooooong time ago. Many of my favourite films were critical failures.


As for Kick Ass 2, I really enjoyed it, particularly after being underwhelmed by the trailer. Not sure if I preferred it to the first, but definitely entertaining.

Saw "The Way Way Back" last night, having not known anything about it going in (aside from the lead actors), I was thoroughly entertained. Steve Carrell is very convincing as a douchey (non-goofy) step-dad, and Sam Rockwell shines once again as a quirky dude (as he always does).
