We are not on the old forum anymore so before you post remember that this forum has a proper archive.

I'm going to have a whole lot of fun in a few weeks

Not as much fun as we had laughing at you.

the bottom line is--wilson was a make shift centre--we didnt have any and still dont.he did a okay job--but his real go would be as a backrower.but untill a young gun comes through or we buy one,he will remain in the top 3 or 4 centres in the club--down on form this year-got off to a slow start after injury and never recovered-but dont forget he has more meat pies over the last few years than the rest of the team put together

Thank you super coach .
My thread was not a negative posting bagging out John Wilson ,it was just my opinion on John as top grade centre .
I feel he has had ample time to prove himself in the number 4 but has not shown me any of the qualities i have seen from players like Matt Cooper or Ryan Cross just to name a couple .

With that said i would not be unhappy if his name was read out in the back row or on the interchange ,i just feel he lacks the class that most of the better performed centres have .

I reckon he would get a spot in the centres at Newtown! Then again maybe not considering they are playing Norths this weekend at Henson Park for the Frank Hyde trophy. He would probably have to wait for the following week for a more lower profile game. ;-)
