What s your pass mark for 2016?

Honestly, my pass mark is the tigers winning over six games. That would be an achievement given our roster.

We have zero chance of making finals as we have one of the weakest rosters in the comp & a pathetic coach.There are to many teams that have much stronger squads than us & who didn't make finals in '15 but are genuine contenders this season such as parra Canberra warriors & Penrith.Hence a pass mark for us is to finish in 10th to 12th position.

Making the top 8 for me. I reckon our roster is fine. We have a fast backline with plenty of skill assuming Moses and Brooks perform. I also think our pack is fine assuming Sironen and Lawrence perform. We also have some depth now.

I reckon Naiqma is a great player. I mean he isn't a Steve Renouf but he is a quality player at NRL level. Milone doesn't look up to it at all.

You make some very good points here. 2017 will see a number of players come off contract so I would hope that we get the ball rolling with looking at who we are going to cut and who we are going to chase by the end of 2016.

If every player played to their potential and put in each and every game I'd be wrapped. Whatever the result is on the points table after they did that...well I could live with it.

In saying that however Taylor has more chance of taking over Malcolm Turnbulls job than coaching this team to the top 5 or 6 but I'd love him to prove me wrong. I expect much of the same crap this year or at least until a new coach is appointed part way through the season.

But really anywhere from tenth place up would be a good year. If you look at our roster you would be thinking bottom three but I have a gut feeling we could surprise a few people this year, but we will need another good year on the injury front and a massive improvement in the discipline department

You make a good point Charlatan, most players seem to go much better leading up to their contract renewal than when having just signed one...especially the long ones we offer. This might just be the reason they play to their potential this year!!!!

Is our roster that bad ? I don't think so. I'm not stating that we have the best team in the world but we have some great talent in the backs. Our forwards may also go pretty well.

That is potentially a good pack.

I'm more concerned about our bench but we have players like:-

Halatau
Griffen
Ava
Edwards
Chee-Kam

I'm more concerned about Taylor and players improving such as Brooks, Moses, Sironen and Lawrence.
