What should our 2010 pass mark be?

I would be happy with a top 6 finish but ,this depends on a few things robbies early season form ,benji's position 6 or 7 thats a big factor ,our goalkicking unless we find an 75-80% kicker we will struggle to those close games again considering our style of play in that we seem to score the majority of our tries in the corners we could be looking at the same situation of losing 4-5 games by 2-4 points and last but not least shines can he hold his nerve and let the team settle and stop moving people in and out of different positions

NC will give a pass mark if combinations are allowed to develop, and injuries and depth are properly managed. On paper we have a great looking side, but it could all come unstuck if we lose our front row again (2007); lose a winning halves combination again (2006); fail to put a decent halves pairing on the park (2007, 2008 & 2009); lose two experienced centres and/or wingers and replace them with a rookie and a hack (2009); allow Tim Moltzen to play at fullback (2009); allow Daniel Fitzhenry to play at five-eighth (2006); etc etc...

If this can happen, our position on the ladder will take care of itself.

As for the King himself, I reckon any negotiations for contract renewals would have to be based on 2010's results... I'd imagine it will be as simple as "make the finals" but I don't agree it should be that simple. It should be "make the finals with a team that's tougher and better than the one you started the season with".

I agree with Ink. After the finish to last season + positive recruitment for a change, anything bar top 4 (after finals - So GFQ weekend) must be seen as a failure.

If key players stay fit, if Sheens can't get this team deep into the finals ... Well ...

I'll be happy if we finish anywhere in the top 8. If we don't make the top 8 then Sheens and Royce need to go.

I think Royce should have been punted when Folkes was brought in.

Sheens probably made sure his contract allows him to decide who is on the coaching team. Royce will be there for as long as Sheens is there, unless another club offers Royce a coaching job..

We have to finish 6 or higher.

2005 was a long time ago.

Without change there is only decay it's the natural order.

The goal kicking thing keeps getting thrown around, okay Benji is not a El Magic but the bottom line the tigers score the majority of their trys in the corners and that dosnt not help his cause.

There was talk and I saw an interview a few years back about Simmons and an NRL head coaching position and how he'd like one....seems to have fizzled out to suite facall
