ok
so outside backs must communicate heavily
Eye contact & body language would be the big 2 you have missed. Comes from a heightened understanding of each other over time.
i am a more than a litle skeptical that outside backs will be looking into each others eyes when faced with an defensive crisis or an attacking opportunity
but i will watch for it
You must only of been having a cursory glance then.
no
i watch pretty closely
Perhaps we did better because that's where most of the play went - towards Vagana. Noddy's safe passing side.
"most" is a big call
Fair enough. The point is that he now moves to the next level of communication. That of Rep Player. He'll be expected to know more about wing play than he does
your conclusion and opinion is also your argument
and this expectation will mean those inside won't spoon feed him like has happened at the Sharks.
who is spoon feeding him at fullback?
He's far more likely to get a "where the fugg were you" than a "bad luck Homer, next time run this line, you'll be right, Uncles here with ya" type of conversation.
as are all the players
IYO. I would like to see this point qualified with some evidence.....
his attack and defense records
That's true but the more experienced have better coping mechanisms and more off the cuff skills to get by.
sure
in that case no "inexperienced" player should get a run at rep level....
I hope he goes well. I honestly do
i am finding this a little hard to beleive
you have made many personal attacks upon him that go far beyond mere football ability
lol, it only benefits us for him to do so and I didn't start the thread to bag Homer anyway. Just to highlight the challenges is has.
yeah sure
Yes, which he is learning without being the world beater people make him out to be.
maybe he isnt the world beater some make him out to be
equally he isnt the useless non deserved first grader others make him out to be
