They managed to get somethings right! Shame they didn't have the balls to go through with it earlier. The writing has been on the wall since the late 80's and muted a number of times, just nobody has the will to do what is necessary. They had a chance end of 1997 to set up a truly National League of 16 clubs and all the blame could have sat with News ltd who everyone hated anyway but they backed off, culled clubs they shouldn't of and left clubs that continue to create over saturation.

Now there is no will (and a voting system that will ensure the turkeys can vote out christmas), enough money to just keep propping clubs up for ever more and we still have large population centres with little exposure to the game.

Bring back everyone that has ever been shafted and add anyone who wants to join. Our aim should be 52 teams, that way we can have a 52 week comp and no off season. That way only 63% of threads on the nrl board won't be shit.

But what about BunniesMan? He might switch to the Dragons.

That's true, the dumb vagina has mentioned before he would go for the Dragons if souffs left. f**k having that vagina hanging around your sub-forum.

Insert fishing comment about wanting team you don't like kicked out, to be replaced by team who will never re-enter the NRL.

What writing on what wall? What is actually necessary, according to you? Kicking clubs out so your precious pirates can get in. Clubs that built the game to what it is today.

This is why I despise much of what you stand for. You claim to be neutral but deep down you want a host of clubs cut and dots on a map to replace.

Slightly off topic, but can anyone tell me a little about the Jets - like what kind of support they got, the reputation they had, the atmosphere at their home games or whatever?

They were before my time, and I'm curious.

Relocate: Sharks > 2nd Adelaide, Manly > Sunshine Coast
Wellington, Christchurch In, then Out with Warriors to NZ Comp after 10 years.
In: CC Bears, Perth Reds, 2nd Perth, Adelaide Rams, Geelong, Ipswich, Central QLD, Territoria United (NT), Van Diemans Devils (TAS).

24 Teams, 2 Conferences of 12, 10 NSW/ACT Teams, 6 QLD, & 8 Rest of AUS. 4-4-4 Split in 1 Conference & 6-2-4 Split in the other (NSW-QLD-AUS). Home & Away season of 22 Rounds in each Conference, Finals over 4 weeks is the first time any Cross-Conference games are played. Teams in each conference are re-shuffled before the start of each season, maintaining the aforementioned ratio's of NSW-QLD-AUS teams in each.
