a good culture and IMO the kind Fitz is trying to build has respect as well as ruthlessness in it.
Wade and Boyd Cordener are friends and play similar roles for their clubs.
We will treat Wade with that kind of respect , and that will make our club the kind of place players will come to if they want a place that builds over years - yes culture change in prgress. It's not set yet
TBH the chooks can and did flick players ..like Flanno..bahahaha. - Fitz has flicked Tolman and Feefs
But not club Stalwarts - Cordner, Friend for example. They let them retire

I've really become ambivalent to Wade's sitch. Don't care if he stays or goes. Can see pros and cons both ways, If he stays I'm sure his role changes significantly and manifests in less game time.

The Sharks populus has become quite polarised on this which puts Wade in Sacred Cow territory,

The last time there was a big Sacred Cow thread (not the original) was in 2013 when someone led the charge in wanting Gallen gone in place of Benji Marshall.

I just read where The Prior has hung up his boots. He finished up as Captain of Leeds in the Super League.

Good on him, he has had a great career. Two Premierships in Aus is nothing to sneeze about. One in particular was awesome.

I cringed when he was signed, thinking he was an overrated plodder forever stained by the red V. So glad I was proved wrong as he turned out to be crucial part of 2016 success. Real champion and sharks great! Bloody good banjo player as well!
