give steve folks a call 2years at the club and 2 semi final appearances.

I'd hoped that Folkes would replace our current over paid under achiever!!
21 rounds in to the season and I still can't get why we as a club made ourselves look like shit by doing the dirty on the Dragons with Moltzen gate only to play him in the role of half 3 times all year?! Not saying he is a great 7 but f..k me nobody else has done shit in that position & we are now playing our hooker out of position to fill the gap? No wonder I don't understand what I see!!:crazy::crazy:

It all rests with the coach...

- Ayshford went from a stellar year to a below average first grader;
- Reddy has been the first addition for any injury in the backline;
- A solid fullback in Brown was released to allow Moltzen play there (and, who is clearly not interested there);
- Blair hasn't been called to account for his woeful performances;
- Heighington is allowed to start every week over Bell;
- Bell is underutilised and undervalued;
- Koroibete and Nofoaluma should have been given a shot by now to put others on notice;
- Coaching Benji's natural ability to run the ball out of him;
- Lawrence and Ayshford at 5/8.

When the chips are down, he tries to revolutionise the game rather than get back to basics and consolidate on an injury in a key position. He has little time for conventional wisdom in the game and needs to be put to pasture. Thanks for 2005 Tim, go buy a nice patch at Silverdale.

Coach out solves everything.
Benji has his way with Sheens, has a say in how the team is put together.
This is probably the root of why we are really shit.

Do leagues club and/or football club members have the authority to request an independant review into the teams perfromance and make reccommendations as to how to deal with Sheens?

Because you may think its bad now, but next year he brings Royce Simmons back to the club as his assistant.

Manunit, you just turned me off my tea with that information that the failed, sacked St. Helens coach Royce Simmons is heading our way. All we need is another 'yes Mr. Sheens, you were right again'. It is a tragic shame that the inactive Tigers board have not demanded answers to the free fall of the once pre season favourites into a docile submissive rabble as portrayed yet again by the non performance against the rabbits.

ooh yeah, think our defence is a rabble now?

Remember 2006-2008? that's the defence we'll be going back to.

Not really hindsight, but why did Sheens let Mullaney go and sign Reddy and Humble, wasnt Mullaney leading tryscorer in NSW cup?

As a Parra supporter . I am just curious about the release, he may not be NRL standard every week, but definitley better than the ones he took on board.

What I was told on this forum was that Mullaney was never given a look in because the club thought Tedsco was a better prospect. Personally, I would have much preferred to see Mullaney at fullback for us last year rather than persisting with Moltzen who has proven over the last four years that he's not a fullback's arsehole.

Then we could have had two talented players fighting it out for the fullback's position, like Canberra with Josh Dugan and Reece Robinson. Instead the club puts all its eggs in one basket, then Tedesco gets injured and the club then plays musical chairs with the spine all season. This leads to a side that should have been challenging for the premiership are instead facing the prospect of missing the eight yet again.

madunit, can you as moderator, organise a poll or 2 or 3 on this site that asks for a vote on such things as:

1. Should the West Tigers board be looking into the performance of the coach at seasons end. YES/NO

2. Do you as a supporter (OK not all Tiger supports get on here or even know about this site, but we do and it's a start), believe that the West Tigers Board should look at replacing coach Sheens at season end. Yes/No

3. Do you believe that the West Tigers playing strength is adequate?

4. Do you believe that Sheens gives young guys from the U20's a go?
(I think I heard Sterlo say on Sunday that 6 guys made theri 1st grade debut this year for Souths - Tigers, that would be what, 3?

5. Who would you like to see as the 1st Grade coach in 2013, from the following. Folkes, Gentles, Smith, Simmons, Kearney, Gould, Anderson, Keith Barnes, etc

Could get some interesting %

Sheens forever blames every reason under the sun for any loss,sure injuries hurt,soft defence,poor kicking game etc. but what has been noticeable is our inability in attack.The basic skill level to draw and pass,run onto the ball,an inability to create an overlap from a basic in and away, players not positioning themselves in gaps, a lack of purposeful decoy runners, players not supporting ball carriers etc.revert most of the time to a kick on the last relying on luck and good fortune rather than a planned strategy. This to me illustrates that Sheens is not doing his job'Coaching'.

The poll on the home page is generally not for club specific stuff like this.

Feel free to start a thread here though

If ever a club needed Brian Smith for only a 2 year deal to clean out deadwood and restore reality to some so called tv celebrities and social stars, it's US.
This year has been a disaster from round 1, even the pre season where players bulked up and the team in general is pedestrian.
The lucky dip approach to team selection has not and will not work. Gallaway must be spewing (enough to turn his hair red) that he has not been given a go at 5/8th. Only a true genius could turn a world class running 5/8th into an ordinary halfback.
Whilst Sheens cannot be blamed for everything, dropping balls, missing tackles, little involvement, poor kicking etc (sounds like a CV for Moltzen) he is responsible for team selection, game plans, bench rotation etc which are somewhere between defying logic and a disaster.
It is a crying shame that we do not have a live board like St.Helens or Parramatta who demand action or else. This is a business and it is about WINNING. The part that hurts most is that we are not even competitive!
