Funny, having consulted the RL rule book I can see no offence called a "chicken wing". Surely referees are not using media labels to determine penalties now are they?

I am pretty sure that's why Smith made his tongue-in-cheek comment. Man I almost did a Timmah then and bolded tongue-in-cheek.

Anyway, good on him.

All this talk is making me hungry...the alcohol left over in my system from last night needs to be soaked up. Nandos for dinner for me...

Cameron Smith is one of the most arrogant players in the game today.

But he'll be eating humble pie this year as last night's performance shows they will only be an average team this year.

Put a red line through the Storm.

Arrogance is not always a bad thing.

a chicken wing is a small boney appendage on both the left and right side of a chicken (sometimes referred to as a fowl). Whilst edible, the lack of flesh makes them less appetising than the leg or breast. Smith must be pretty stupid not to know this

Theres a chicken shop in Altona Meadows that has perfected and surpassed KFCs coating. And you know its really chicken

When I lived in Sydney there was a brilliant shop on Glebe Point Road... Sharkies... had the best fried chicken I had ever tasted. It's gone for another generic takeaway now sadly.

Cam had every right to clarify with the ref. It is a grey area.
As soon as there's daylight between the arm and body, everyone thinks its a chicken wing. Is the "chicken wing" a proper term in the ref's rule book?

Loved kingsleys chicken on a friday night when I lived in canberra, though I rember a bit of gristle destroying my tooth one night.

Next time the ref penalises us for a chicken wing I want him to say to say to the ref "Aint no thang called a chicken wang"'
