Oh well, as there's no longer anything else left to read, I'm out of here for the night .
Delete the posts that breach guidelines, infract the members, post a warning in the thread and lock it, but keep the remainder of the posts visible.
Basically, model how you want people to behave on the forums, and leave the guideline interpretations visible in the relevant locked threads, as a warning to others (rather than delete that from view and prevent the ongoing education of the forum community).
Takes time in the beginning, but if applied consistently then it will pay off. (Or the repeat offenders will soon rack up enough infractions to be banned if they don't adapt their posting style.)

 Dickhead.

to answer your question, it wasn't offensive but we dont normally tolerate people complaining about mods, their job is hard enough
its like players complaining about the ref, it isn't tolerated
I'm not suggesting the mods dont make mistakes, they are human like the refs, but we just dont allow it
if anyone would like to come up with a better suggestion I'm all ears

lol I still don't know why that one got locked. I'm too scared to ask. The off season is nerve racking.

it was explained in the last post of the locked thread
gone
people had been given warnings and some chose to ignore them.
Mate, that's a fairly vague explanation regarding what was a pretty innocuous thread? :?
Suity
I wouldn't expect a moderator to go into detail the of each problem with each post or member in a post deletion explanation.
I personally asked of we could play nice but my requests were ignored. Like I said in a previous post, I'd rather we let these 3P discussions take their course but some people let their emotions take over.
That's understandable Twiz.
It's just concerning that a roll on of post deletions seems to happen when a certain moderator starts to take control.
It actually gets out of of control, and I think this is Maroubra's question.
It hasn't really been answered yet tbh.
The reason I ask is that the sooner all can understand why certain innocuous posts are deleted, the sooner we can learn not to post such stuff.
