Go to the memories thread, there are some pearlers in there.
They know who they are, & would be feeling quite embarrassed right now.

He's pulled off some mighty good hits, on opposition players trying to get out of the in the goal area. He's also put his body on the line leaping for up and unders.

He's not as fast, but there's still a lot of life in the Peach yet.

I'm not in agreeance with the Peachy is not fast line either.
Peachey never looked fast even in early days.
We all knew he was.
last week he delivered the money ball to Simmons, after creating an opportunity with a cunning wrap around play. He covered about 40 metres in the lead up to that pass.
He shot the pass, then took off up the inside to support Simmons.
he was jogging next to Simmons who was in full flight. All the way to the line.

Peach isnt as quick over the ground as he was but more importantly he's quick between the ears.

Peach is still far and away the best option we have for fullback

While he doesnt score as many tries as he used to with his broken play running, he has increasingly created a number of tries for other players

His TEN try assists this season are behind only kimmorley (18 ), finch (16), orford (13) and head (12)

This is coming from a bloke who has scored 7 tries from 13 games this season

We've scored 54 tries and he's been directly involved in 17 - from fullback
That's very close to 1 in 3
Not bad for a bloke who is "struggling" and too worried about getting injured again!
ShireShark how good is this comment on the back of the raiders game, it was shown in this game how bad we miss the peach and on another matter I think your figures are a little under because there would have been more assists accredited to him if the tries we scored were indirectly caused by the peach going in another direction and the opposition following him and not the ball. What do you reckon?

I still think he has another year or two in him. His attacking options will be sorely missed.

Beeks,

I mean with a torn quad and dodgy hamstring, he'd have no power in his leg.

I heard over the weekend that Peach might also have a groin problem.
Hope not.

We can't afford to lose too many if we are to make a finals charge. Not the way this comp is at the moment. We could find ourselves quite low on the ladder again if we lose a couple. Perish the thought.
