I actually think you’re right about the Raiders, they looked very good.

But I’m still worried about the Warriors, that halves combo has no points in it. Need TMM back at 7 for a start.

A halves combo and a gameplan is needed. Effort only gets you so far.

I was expecting this to be our rebuilding year before last season but I thought we got a head start on it last year when SJ and Tohu’s bodies gave out on them. Apparently not :/

If you don't have a spine you won't min many games, it's just not going to happen. If the Warriors isn't the worst spine it's in the worst 2-3. Then you let the best prop in the world go and in turn get a Kmart version and wonder why you have no go forward.

The recruitment has been horrific, coaching has been worse.

Perhaps play your best FB at fullback and not on the wing too!

The Raiders looked every inch a top 8 team. After seeing that performance, and how tough they are to beat at home, I'd say 5th-6th is a fairly realistic outcome if they stay largely injury-free. They have quality across the park, I don't think they have any significant weakness.

Although a better team will penalise the significant amount of mistakes they made.
