I've heard the bearded clams in Thailand are sensational?

Probably not a good idea to eat it though. You might cop a dose of special sauce at the end.

Balmain and/or Moreton Bay Bugs on a bbq, with butter, salt, pepper and a squeeze on fresh lemon juice. Does not get any better.

Believe it or not but my local Japanese restaurant does deep fried oysters in breadcrumbs....bloody awesome.

Oyster omlette is a reasonably popular dish in Thailand. Quite plesant.

They do a similar dish in Malaysia with clams (we'd call them cockles). Very good.

Yeah its the same dish basically. Thai one is saltier as they add fish sauce.
