When are these guys' contracts up?

Anyone know how long these guys are contracted for;

Vella - I'm dissappointed in him.
Hindmarsh - I never want him to leave.
Lyon - I think until 05?
Burt - I think this will be HIS season.

This is Burt's last year of his contract, Vella, Lyon & Hindmarsh i think are all 2005....along with Nathan Cayless??

As far as effort goes I would put Lyon, Cayless, Hindy, Burty, Ashley and Hopkins at the top of the list. Petersen, Witt and Morris would come in for special mention as well.

As for Vella, I wouldn't even bother feeding him if he was hungry after last years effort.

Agree with Mr George that Micky V has been the massive disappointment. Injuries aside, he hasn't really stepped up and been the enforcer that we need.

Chances are he will do a Heckenberg and start to pull the finger out when he realises that his comfy contract is up for renewal.

Hopefully our young guns in Cannings, Tsoulous will really fire up this year so we can offload the expensive heffalump.

Vella's contract is up in 2005 but dont be too surprised if he is given an early release next year. I dont think coach Smith is to impressed with his off field prowlings... Just exactly how did he injure his knee at the end of this year??? :shock:

Hopefully Vella can regain the form that saw him picked for Australia. If not, we should be able to retain Hindy and Caylo.
Actually Hindy and Caylo should be priority re-signings over Vella regardless. Also the club better have them signed up before the june 30 deadline when their contracts are up for re-negotiation.

You would think that Burty would be signed asap b4 june 30 deadline, but this is smithy we are talking about... and the fact that he is like, one of two of my last remaining favourite players at this club doesn't give me much hope... i am the jinx.
But i agree, this is my Burty's year. I thought, i just had a feeling, that he was gonna absolutely shine last year, blow everyone outta the water.. but of course, stupid injury.
Hopefully things go well, and he steps up and gets a few people talking. he's a 8) very cool man

Luke Burt is a very nice bloke!

I have a bad feeling i must say that Luke Burt will be leaving us?.......maybe the fact because the last contract he was offered was well below what he could of earnt elsewhere.

I hope he has a super year & resigned to a longer term contract.....he showed great loyalty by sticking with us.

oh, a couple of the boys have done it, but soon got sick of crap pay and not chance of grade, now their gone... the loyalty's there, but you can't blame them for wanting out after a while.
i didn't realise Luke's contract was up this year, now im really worried that he'll get that money elsewhere...
he'll be in first grade next year for sure right? him and Peto on the wings?

100% agree with you....why should we get rid of players who show such loyalty in this day & age!!

We haven't even seen the best of Burty yet!....i cannot wait untill he peaks!!, He's a great utility player who is great in all facets of the game including fitness!!

If he isn't resigned asap and his contract isn't upgraded since he showed great loyalty by sticking with us.....i'll find it hard to watch another Parra game!!
