Strider, can you actually point out the words to me? For the life of me I cant see anything like what you are alluding to.

Can anyone help the poor boy (see, I resisted from calling you a girl - sorry if you are one).

Have another go, Strider. Or maybe quit while you are behind.

Oh right - having difficulting reading these days eh?

The "BTW, just out of interest, where were you during the 81 GF?" is in no way "alluding" to questioning my longevity as a Parramatta supporter is it?

No, numbskull. It was alluding to the whereabouts of you on September 27th 1981!

I was actually wondering if you were around for the winning years, given your passion for supporting mediocrity, and attacking those who sought better.

And if it was as you say, you still need to provide the link where I say that being a longer time supoerter than you (we are virtually the same) makes me BETTER than you. I never did, it was just your massive rush to bag me because I didn't like Smith.

Next time, don't be in such a hurry to be the Genghis Kahn of the internet, and you might learn something!

1976. I was only 8 years old. My grandfather worked for Parramatta council, and worked every footy weekend in the car park at the old cumberland oval. And like the member who posted this topic also said, my mood is directly in proportion to whether the eels win or lose. Now i have a 13 year old son. He is actually much worse than me. Can not talk to him for about 3 hours after a loss.

In 1988, at the age of 13, I was dragged kicking and screaming to my first game at Parra Stadium by by best friend and her Dad (RIP). After a while they stopped going regularly to games so I would go on my own. Since about 1990 I have hardly ever missed a home game (was gunna miss one tomorrow tho to go to the Drag Races out at the Creek.. ). Met the Parraletics in about 1998 which is when I started to meet the players. Good times, good times...

1981. Was on a family holiday in Sydney week before the Grand Final. The atmosphere, hype and team colours believe it or not were the major reasons for me supporting the mighty blue and gold.

Eels forever........

Can't put an exact year on for me, other than late 70s early 80s....it was my nans doing. First game was the 1982 semi when we got done 19-10 by Manly.

And I still wear the same scarf I wore to the '86 grand final.
