I recall a penalty against Tepai for a flop. Second man after the tackle was complete. He didn’t come in late and all match the ruck resembled a roman orgy. Yet Tep gets pinged. Souths get legup field position and score

Same goes with Norman who did nothing different that every player throughout the match. He goes to the bin.

They were either square ups or inconsistent calls. Either way, they had a significant impact on the result.

A lot of the problems would be fixed if we got rid of the ten metres and went back to 5 metres or some other thing. Essentially we need to have a really good think about the structure of the defensive rules.

Thats not the refs, it is the rules and the coaches. Lets start blaming the right people.

It was the refs who called it a flop when moses hadnt even made the tackle (went over the top) .... it wasnt even a flop in the scheme of flops

Everyone is so keen to say its not the refs .... well they make f**kups too - they are human and we have to live with ref f**k ups just like players f**k up .... thier f**ks just seem a bit more unbelievable of late .... i get its not their fault entirely - tough job and their management are shit
