When do we call time?

Can you refresh my memory and tell me what he said about, Humble?

The reality is simple, we get a few extra hard running forwards and learn how to control the ruck and Moses is the last of our problems, in fact you’d be kissing him on the dick each week because he’d be playing great.

Do you remember how many shit seasons Thurston had in NQ? There were plenty in his career. Was he a shit halfback because his team wasn’t winning? He only got praised the way he did because he was a half for QLD during their ridiculous run. If QLD were also losing i guarantee you that no one talks about him being an immortal.
Moses twice this season had a chance to settle us down. Against Panthers we played erratic and silly when had the lead.
Against Rooster at 18-14 he needed to find touch and instead with plenty of time puts a bomb under no pressure at all and gives a 7 tackle set.

Forget setting up tries. These are the small things that he is just not doing.
Thanks h111.

So who should we try and poach seeing that Moses isn’t viewed as our long term 7?
I put forward an opinion.

That opinion was that Moses wasn't responsible for our loss last night as you suggested. That is an opinion.

If you would now like my opinion about your latest distraction then I am only to happy to oblige.

I'd poach Shaun Johnson. I was pissed we couldn't snag him.

Post it you funny fence sitting merkin.
I did captain flip flop.

OK - you are a girl after all

Not being extreme doesn't mean not having an opinion .... all the people who simply said, not convinced with BA but give him a little time to show something, were still having an opinion
That's fence sitting. Like most of you merkins do here. So what if you are proven wrong. You pricks take this forum way too seriously. Nothing is binding here. I think Moses is an erratic little shit. Better than Norman but still nowhere near as good as some other halfbacks.

Fence sitting again. Like I said before the season even started I didn't think he was an organising type of halfback. More like a running 5/8th which is what Brown also is. Moses is a manufactured halfback with limited strength and little vision. Sterling said exactly the same thing as I did after I posted this which obviously means he reads my posts.
Sterlo has you on ignore.

Well way I see it everyone has a job.

Gutherson is to provide energy and fire guys up.

Taka is poor as was I am sure BA is aware but he provides something different.

Fergo and Sivo job is to provide power and get us on a roll

MJ bring experience and defense.

Jnr gives the team 2nd phase play as does Lane.

Moses job along with steering the team round is to keep them calm and control the flow of the game and momentum. Give forwards a rest by kicking for touch etc.
He gets caught in his own world a lot and that means Brown or Mahoney need to take control. I dont think either have the confidence yet.

He's saving your mate Townsend's arse at the moment.

The other thing I'd do is poach Cooper Johns from Melbourne. Feed him steak and musashi bars for the next 12 months. Bring his old man to our club as well as a part-time halves coach.

Oh f**k, was that another opinion?

If you were to give everyone a mark out of 10 for how they have performed their job this year, Moses would be somewhere in the middle of the pack.

Not setting the world on fire. But solid so far and not our biggest concern.

Plus his goal kicking has been 11/13 this year from all angles. 85% is pretty handy.

I actually agree with Captain Flip Flop .... Johnson is another erratic ball runner - can be sensational, but its not what we really need .... Townsend is sensible and more able to control a game and not get all flashy over his head

If Brown can reach his potential, then a Geoff Robson clone like Chad would work. But that might take 3 years.

yeah agree .... Brown is a bit "controlled" at the moment - which I am sure is a combo of being green and instructions to not over do it .... so yeah maybe moses for a year is fine ... but then ....

What in your opinion is?
I think Moses failed to do his job when it was needed most. He does have the toughest job in the team. But also gets paid close to the most for it.
Against Penrith we lost our heads and where erratic. It was like we where behind by 8 with 10 to go.
Against Roosters we did same. Someone needed to slow the game down. That someone was Moses.

Every side in the NRL has a fault. Even the Roosters. It doesn't mean we can not win a comp with Moses. He is just one of our weakness.
There also was a try scored due to his weak tackle. He made it but was pushed 3meters back. And allowed a quick play the ball and we could not number up. He has flaws.
