Its going OK so far.Do you think Salmon in centres with Taka on bench works? Salmon can give 20mins at dummy half during the game while Taka plays some centre and some 2nd row.

I am not a Taka hater (like so many) - but I am getting to the stage of thinking Salmon should get a start at centreDo you think Salmon in centres with Taka on bench works? Salmon can give 20mins at dummy half during the game while Taka plays some centre and some 2nd row.
Halves in the NRL - who would you swap for Moses? .... who is suitable? Not just Ponga cos he is the next big thing (even though he is a better fullback)
Broncos ... Milf, Nikorima
Dragons ... Hunt, Corey
Raiders ... Sam Williams, Wighton, (Sezar)
Knights ... Pearce, Ponga
Roosters ... Keary, (Cronk)
Manly ... DCE, Elgey
Warriors ... Green, Kerighan
Cowboys ... Morgan, Clifford (Temare Matin)
Sharks ... Townsend, Johnson
Panthers ... Maloney, Cleary
Storm ... Croft, Munster
Tigers ... Benji, Brooks
Dogs ... Foran, Lewis
Honestly ... not alot there I would want .... Munster & Ponga are top players you would want, but neither is a game controller - Johson similar .... DCE is good but costs the world .... Morgan, Keary, Pearce would probably cost a fair bit .... Townsend is good bang for buck and wouldn't hamper the progression of Drown
f**k offForan.
Moses twice this season had a chance to settle us down. Against Panthers we played erratic and silly when had the lead.
Against Rooster at 18-14 he needed to find touch and instead with plenty of time puts a bomb under no pressure at all and gives a 7 tackle set.
Forget setting up tries. These are the small things that he is just not doing.
I said the same in the game thread. Pritchard would be excellent coming from the bench. Is he due back anytime soon ?You mean the Panthers game where the only time the Panthers scored was when they were playing against 12 men? The biggest weakness of Moses in that game was missing the first 2 kicks as then we would have been much more comfortable even when Mennings was sin binned.
Last night we were purely dominated, i see whinging about the high kicks he was putting in, you know why he was putting them like that? Cause the Roosters lifted a gear and the team could not go with them, so when you are getting dominated and the defence is all over you on the 5th you don't have the luxury of kicking to the corners, you f**king smash that ball down field and get as much hang time as possible for the chasers to get there.
Were you at the game by any chance? He had someone in his face every time in that last 20.
Garry is right, not having a backup hooker also killed us last night. I know no one likes him but could you imagine when Mahoney goes off last night and we send kamikaze Pritchard out there smashing blokes and leading our defensive line? Imo that would have been Pritchard's role this year, when Mahoney laid the platform Kaysa's enthusiasm off the bench would have been huge, especially against a team like the Roosters.
Our kicking game was shithouse last night. It was the main factor in why we fell apart at the end there.I’ll let you in on a little secret. I’ve got a time machine and I saw that we actually make the 8 this year. My subscription however ends in round 26.
I don’t think we will ever have a losing streak of six in a row anymore. Norman is gone. Brown will only get better but unfortunately I still think the jury is out with Moses. A good halfback would have won us that game last night. Our forwards were holding their own.
And who is responsible for that? Is it the same guy who put up a bomb and gave them a 7 tackle set when we were ahead? Our kicking game was shithouse last night. It was the main factor in why we fell apart at the end there.
Jennings is still one of the best defenders in the NRL. I hope he re-signs for a reasonable fee.Get Salmon and Parry in the centers. Bring back Tep.
Winner, winner chicken dinner.
Yep. Jennings is currently in a defensive line with a three game veteran on either side of him.Jennings was great in defence last night. You won’t get that out of two rookies.
BA is not foolish enough to put rookies in such a sink or swim position (with a rookie winger) at the same time.
*shagI'd poach Shaun Johnson. I was pissed we couldn't snag him.
Commit Pou. Moses or chase someone else for 2020?*shag

There are plenty of worse defenders than Mitch Moses these days. With the extra weight his defence is well up to NRL standard.Every side in the NRL has a fault. Even the Roosters. It doesn't mean we can not win a comp with Moses. He is just one of our weakness.
There also was a try scored due to his weak tackle. He made it but was pushed 3meters back. And allowed a quick play the ball and we could not number up. He has flaws.
It's better not to break up an edge combination.Do you think Salmon in centres with Taka on bench works? Salmon can give 20mins at dummy half during the game while Taka plays some centre and some 2nd row.
Yeah Moses and Drown were shite. They were shite long before fatigue killed our go forward and took away their time with the ball. And who is responsible for that? Is it the same guy who put up a bomb and gave them a 7 tackle set when we were ahead?
I like Moses. He puts pressure on opposition defenders. Just because he wears 7 doesn't mean he has to be the Cronk/Townsend/Sezer type. It's just a jersey number.Commit Pou. Moses or chase someone else for 2020?
Or the guy who teed off a grubber to give them a 7 tackle set and later dribbled one straight at Tedesco to gift him 20 metres? TBF to both of them I reckon we only had 3 bad kicks all game. Unfortunately those mistakes and the other errors allow teams like Rorters to bring pressure that we aren’t capable of dealing with at the moment. Hopefully, like in 2017, we build into handling that pressure across the season. If certain players, especially Moses and Gunco, can do that, they might warrant taking risk on re-signingAnd who is responsible for that? Is it the same guy who put up a bomb and gave them a 7 tackle set when we were ahead?
