When's the timeline for re-signing? End of June?
The draw is real tough up til then, either Brad will turn us around and we tough it out or it's curtains. I'm happy to wait before passing judgement but for what it's worth, I think it's curtains.

Real shame, I love Brad.
The players love Brad as well, I’d hate to see what hey offer up if they disliked him.

Id say after Broncos game at Bankwest if the dead line - mid June, by then for sure, maybe earlier if we lose matches. We dont have a home game for a while after that Broncos game, with origin fever and we have a bye as well.

By then we play Cowboys, Penrith (h), Souths (h), sharks and Broncos (h)
3 out of 5 wins there id say he may be safe (or 8 from 14)

Cowboys are shocking, keep an eye on JT and Morgan and we SHOULD win this match. If they run through us, Id say BA is as good as gone

I hope we win atleast 1 of next 2.
We must stick to the 50% record before we go on our run to end season.
The way this squad is built is for a 50% record and a late swoop. It's not a front runner. Even if we get to round 17 and win 7/10 it will get us most likely around 5-7th.

Let's hope D.Brown is back soon and BA sorts centre by then. It is about ironing out the weaknesses.
Unsure how many guys will improve on form. Sivo should along with Mahoney and Kafusiand Manu as he gets match fit. N.Brown will make us a 4 point better side.
Alvaro can only get better as well.

If we can make a 10 -12 point better team we will give a shake.

There is certainly potential too. A shame Stefano was injured as he may of been a suprise boost come rnd 17....I do not see any other juniors coming into team and improving it.
Parry may become a solid first grader. I wouldn't be expecting a superstar or game changer....Just solid. Maybe Aitken level

I don't really have any faith in Parry doing well in FG to be honest. He's trying hard in reggies but he doesn't seem ready.

He is strong enough and runs hard. He isnt ultra quick and doesnt have any special moves. He may be a Aitken level. He hasnt the skill of Taka but also less brain explosions. I dont see him making side better.
Salmon, GJ, Hoffman should get first crack at Takas spot

He looks like Josh Bogan without the tats. That prolly why I don't like him.

I’m happy it’s another two years. Gives him time to get this young squad working well, any longer though would have been taking the piss I think.

I think though if he’s successful in the next 3 seasons (including this one) then the next contract should be a longer one. He’ll have earned it by then.

Interestingly some who want BA sack, were saying before the start of the season, we were wooden spoon bound and we had a poor squad.

Yet here we are in the top 8, 2 points from 4th spot after 9 rounds.

So BA has actually overachieved based on what their original opinion was, on what our squad was capable of achieving. Yet after one shit terrible performance it’s time to sack BA!!

So did BA have a poor squad in the pre season? But in round 9 he had a great squad?

Surely if the expectation was we were going to challenge for the spoon, that there would be the occasional flogging!!

BA officially extended

Parramatta Eels Rugby League Club extends Brad Arthur’s contract

The Parramatta Eels Rugby League Club are pleased to announce the extension of the contract of Head Coach, Brad Arthur, for two years taking him through until the end of the 2021 NRL Telstra Premiership season.

Parramatta Eels Club CEO, Bernie Gurr, said the Club has been in discussions for three weeks with Brad’s management and the extension of his contract was important for the Club moving forward.

“When we undertook our Football review last year it was clear that a long term strategy for our football department was needed to ensure our players and coaches have the best possible opportunity for success.

“It is the view of the Board and CEO that Brad is the best choice to lead our Club’s Football Program into the future.

“We are focused on continuing to be a Development Club and we strongly believe in what Brad is building and his ability to lead our NRL team in the right direction,” added Bernie.

Brad Arthur said he was very happy to have the support of the Club, “I feel very fortunate to be able to continue coaching at this great Club. We have a proud and passionate supporter base and I want us to give them the results they deserve.

“Everyone involved in our Football Program realises the responsibility we have in bringing sustained success to our Members and fans and that remains our priority.'

LOL DERP,the season isn't even over yet, there's still a big chance of being near the bottom of the ladder by years end, there's 2 million rounds left to go

I bet you are hoping like f**k that this happens. You will be more excited than a dog with two dicks if we get the spoon again.
