In defense to Avenger it is possible Hayne never come good and being a loyal guy he back him the same as BA.
It is also possible BA is your normal run of the mill coach. Not shit and not great. Like Green, Mary,Griffin. His sucess is based on bounce of ball, injuries, players personal form.

There is also chance BA tactics have been worked out so Avenger has right to change opinion. He has yet to see BA under huge pressure and now he has he isnt liking what he is seeing. I tend to agree also. I dont understand some team, selections but I also didnt like Norman to fullback. He played great.

The telling plays in my opinion were the Ma'u missed tackle which was a total and utter disgrace and the two dropped balls by Jennings.
I would drop Ma'u for that tackle alone and I would explain to the other players that if that is the attitude they want to take into any particular play then you can f**k off right now.
The two Jennings drops were just attention to detail which we do not have and is a reflection of the attitude the group of players have. How hard is it to secure the ball against the threat of a tackler? It is pretty elementary stuff. True both tacklers made great desperate plays which most defenders are making this year (with the exception of Parra defenders). You have to expect that in first grade.
I would pick the players with the right attitude for the rest of the year.
Guys like Norman and Ma'u need to spend time in the lower grades.
