In all seriousness, though, the midfield bomb criticism is easily the worst, dumbest criticism I have seen of BA's coaching. Every team does it. Every. Single. One. That's the modern NRL....safe, low error footy, four or five hitups and a kick for the corner or a high kick in hopes of creating an error, rinse and repeat until you get mometum and then branch out.

Your boy Flanno loves it, actually.

The problem with the bombs (and this isn't a tactic issue) is that Moses can't seem to kick a spiral bomb - the ones that are difficult to catch. And if he can kick them he must not have much confidence to do them consistently. All of his are end over end which are pretty much bread and butter for most fullbacks and wingers

More waffle.

Don’t tell me I don’t think there is a problem when I have never said as much.

Of course there is a problem. I just happen to think very differently about the problem.

You are just a dense hot head with nothing sensible to offer.
You have barely discussed the game at all in this thread. Just posted absolute crap, so don't tell me i have nothing sensible to offer you smug uppity merkin.

I at least bothered to go to the game, i got to see how bad they are just by trying to set
up a play. The side and team is a shambles, we are last 2 from 12 and you think i am being irrational because i reckon the coach has had his chance???? I'm hotheaded because i think he is not the bloke to lead us out of this shit. i'm Dense because i can't see us winning a GF with the bloke????

There needs to be a in depth review of the whole football department, it should be happening yesterday. The coach, his staff, our recruitment and a head of football should be all looked at. Then there should be a decision made on who should be coaching us next year and us appointing a head of football. BA has had his chance and failed badly.

What will determine BAs future is the recruitment that he is able to do before the 2019 season. Obviously he rewarded loyalty to the club over the past couple of years by limited recruitment and standing by players who supported both him and the team in a pretty diabolical period.

If the weaknesses can't be seen and covered , then it's time to look at a replacement, fo both BA and Bernie it is critical they actually sign players and complete the rebuild. We have a fair roster that needs improving, if the cap position and off contract numbers are true, then It's all about those 2 stepping up and getting the right players and upskill the younger ones coming through. No longer do we want to hear we are talking to players, we want the targets signed and delivered.

That's how important decisions and discussions currently being made are crucial not only to the club, but the 2 people sitting at the head of the football side of things . Add to that, keep Max away from the press, and make it clear what if any are the financial handicaps place on the footy organisation.

Bout time you went to a game. You were sounding off the other week about a player’s performance in a game that you didn’t even watch.

I will say it again - you have nothing sensible to offer. Your last two paragraphs are about how our team is going bad. Thanks you f**ken genius I would never have worked that out!!!!

I don't disagree. I'm just pointing out that it's a silly criticism. Better to criticise the lack of a chase, but because that's a player issue it doesn't fit the narrative so people criticise the coach for doing what every coach in the NRL does.

Personally I think we should be putting high kicks into the corridor between wing and fullback because we haven't got someone who can get a big spiral going. Look for a bounce or an error from a player on the run. I also think we could kick across field more, both Moses and Norman seem to get those kicks right quite often and if the winger is back there's usually a chance. But I can't blame the coach for doing what every single other team does, either.

The fact that Max is still here and taking a massive salary is outrageous.

I think a few people (myself included) commented on our lack of kick chase last night...and in other games throughout the year.

Yep those kicks would be a nice change up

....and a much bigger issue than the coach. Our chairman is a bloke whose sole remit is to cut costs and ram through procedural reforms FFS. He doesn't give a copper penis what happens on field.

He's done a great job getting us back on our feet, now is the time to f**k off.

I know what you said...maybe you said this....

Doesn’t f**ken sound like you know what I said.
I couldn't be bothered searching it. I know that you wrote he should be sacked if we come last or maybe even if we miss the 8.

I agree with you and applaud your conviction. Well done.

I doubt you would have worked it out your head is that far up your own arse you can almost taste the craft beer on your tongue.

Block me then i don't care what you think, but anytime anyone says something remotely negative on here a bunch of you all piss yours pants and rip in to the offending party.

The coaches position is untenable and his tactics, recruitment and style of football is indefensible. But you will try to anyway while denigrating me or anyone else who thinks it's time for the coach to be taken around the back and be shot.
