Keep going mate. There are far more problems than that.

Problem is no good juniors. We got lucky with Semi, Manu and KE giving us bang for buck along with Brown , Gutherson and Moses at half price. That helped us cover up poor juniors as we got value there.
We arent producing anyhting of quality.

The Administrator wants to push something through to the members of the Leagues Club, that clearly the members of the Leagues Club who give a shit about these things aren't going to have a bar of...

And as much as the Administrator wants to separate the Football Team from the Leagues Club, if the Leagues Club ever stops to fund the Football Team, then there is no Football Team, so the Leagues Club is essentially the Football Team.

Toovey, McGuire, Bennett, Hasler. They are all garbage.

The problems are this in order of importamce

No 1 - Injuries

No 2 - Juniors

No 3 - Luck

No 4 - Players out of form

No 5 - Coach and tactics

No 6 HOPE now is no 1 prpblem. We have none.


If we managed to snag a few wins and where on 8 points. Even say we beat NZ and Dogs we go into tonight with a sniff and hope is still there. Once that is gone you begin to give 90% and in nrl 90% effort means a flogging.

Its been a merkin of a year. Coach part to blame. But not much he can do. His roster is set up with lots of old expereinced has beens, which is 100% his fault. If he developed a squad with 7 or 8 young juniors cracking for a debut amd chance then we habe future and hope. A big X for mine here. He blocked pathways for young guys who want to play in the NRL for old injured guys who have lost the desire.

In a way I'm glad we got pummelled tonight. Finally, we can now concentrate on next season without concerning ourselves about playing finals football. I thought we goners when Manly handed us a new one back in round two. Serious contenders don't get flogged by 54-0, period. The tone was set that day and we didn't recover. I, like anybody else here can't pinpoint a magical cure. One thing though, the blood letting will give many free hits to the media for quite some time yet. We are the club that keeps giving.

True. Given what they would be up against there is no guarantee that any of those semens would do a better job.
