Losing two backs mid-game is worse than losing half a dozen before the team is named.Knights had about 6 out Gary. I want you to name the guys in their 17 you would swap for ours

Did Arthur out coach Bennett in two games last year or does the coach have less influence on any given game than a bunch of other factors?Fact is Brown out coached BA tonight. He also did it last season. Pulled his pants down.
Were you happy with the squad he assembled last year?
Is he the kind of person who preconceives an opinion and then interprets the results to confirm his bias? Not any of the assistant coaches no

15. Klemmer (26) - the rumour is growing legs so I heard tonight
.
I haven't been able to get anything more as yet and probably wont be able to.This is literally all I cared about in this post, lol.
Growing serious legs? Or little Deadpool legs?
I think it's smart. There were players signed in 2016 because we were desperate and didn't know our cap position until after the marquees were all snapped up. And it would be difficult to get any player if you're only offering one year contracts. That means your emergency signings end up on the books for two years. My mail is that the Board are giving BA time to rebuild following the debacle we know as 2016 and the setback that season caused.
Our for-and-against were never great last year. We wouldn't have made the top eight if it was decided on points differential, and IMO that is the best measure of the quality of the team. We overachieved for sure. But we should have been better this year with the signings we made, the extra cohesion amongst the squad, and the young blokes improving naturally. Only Scott and Gower should be on the decline, according to age. Hayne isn't much worse than Radradra, but it's irrelevant when he's injured. f**king some woman half to death in California can't have been good for his preparation either.I reckon 2017 was the anomaly and was partially due to an attitude carry over from 2016 and our treatment by the NRL. Effectively we are in year 2 of the rebuild - the same kind of rebuild that took the Panthers 8 years even with Gus at the helm.

This one would be wrapped up tighter than a nun's you know whatsie.
Because the Knights have shit defence. If we had been able to stay in the grind without our edge defence getting reshuffled or losing our only kicker we could have gotten them late in the game.Sure...I’m well aware of this. But given our inability to score points and our poor defence, even when we haven’t suffered a bad injury till mid-game, I’m keen to know what makes you think tonight would be any different.
That's because they had all the ball. The knights were all over us in the first 20 minutes when fatigue shouldn’t have been an issue.
Peats is one of my favourites, and he only missed one game for the Titans in the back half of 2016. But he missed nine games last year and has already missed four in the first half of 2018. If we'd kept him we would be whinging about that merkin always being injured.(although I would have signed Peats, personally).
-Confidence. Losses bring low confidence, which leads to one out footy and panic plays. The more you lose, the worse it gets.
And yet at their best both would add plenty to our attack which was our weak point last year.I wasn’t moaning about the squad. Clearly stating he assembled it. But since your asking, there were many people here that stated we don’t need Hayne or Evans wasn’t the player we needed.

Yep. Some merkins think two wins from 13 means every merkin in your squad is a reserve grader. We need some luck with injury but we also need to bring a couple of top 17 players into the squad. I think with Paulo it's enough to make a huge difference to our middle attack. We do need a hooker (even just 20+ games from Pritchard would be enough) but mostly our biggest weakness is lack of a winger who can ruck the ball out and make his own line breaks.Just on the issue of bringing younger players in and not buying older players, here is a look at a potential forward rotation for 2020 with their age in brackets (I picked 2 years to allow some younger guys to debut).
8. Paulo (26)
9. Mahoney (22)
10. Alvaro (27)
11. Niukore (23)
12. Moeroa (24)
13. Brown (27)
14. Kritchard (26)

16. Kaufusi (21)
17. Stone (22)
18. Evans (28)
19. Gower (34)
20. Terepo (28)
That 12 or 13 out of a forward squad of 16 which is normally what you would have in your top 30.
3 or 4 astute buys and/or some further development of someone from the juniors and you have rebuilt your squad.

But with Paulo our pack is good enough, at least at full strength. It would be good to see Takairangi back at second row but we are having a legit outside backs crisis.
He must be well off Auva'a.I think Salmon played in the centres today for Wenty and was told this may be because BA wants/needs Taka back at second row give we are down Williams, Edwards and Scott.
