When was the last time?
Is there a chance that they will not play any games this weekend?
Maybe Knights V Tigers?
If the game was called off what would happen? Rematch?

Last time I believe was a match between Newcastle and maybe Brisbane at Marathon? Lightning struck dangerously close to EAS at that time.

Having said that, the forecast for Sunday is downgraded to showers so it could dissipate a little. The niggle in that is our problem comes tomorrow - weather worse than today.

O, ok and what happened? Did they play that match at a later date?

Can't remember. I think it might have even been one of those pre-season Tooheys Challenge games.

Newcastle v Souths was called off in May 1997, and replayed in July at the same venue

As do I: Round 10 if I remember correctly. Also if memory serves me, they played the Round 10 match in between Rounds 15 & 16. That was in the days of spilt rounds for State Of Origin games. Both Souths and Newcastle had that particular weekend off, so it was scheduled then.

Ask me what I did yesterday, and I have no idea. Yet I can remember this kinda stuff!

I remember that game. I was in the supporters bus on the way up there only to find out the game was postponed. The re-match was played in just as bad conditions.

I remember a Saints and Gold Coast game at Kogarah being washed out in the late 80s

Is the Monday night game next week at EAS also in danger? Doesn't seem like the weather is going away for a while.
