Where are the critics?

Both the Sharks Finatics and the CSSC had meetings about this Reefy, but both groups wanted to go in the same direction but using different methods.

So we agreed to stay seperate and work together when we can.

There were a few reasons behind this descison which will be explained if anyone wants to know. All you have to do is approach us.

There is nothing negative at all from either supporters group from what i know.

Dunno if you read this whole thread or not mate, but I'm sure if you do, you will see what I see about this thread. First couple of posts set the tone and that person isn't a member of either organisation ;-)

Wozza have you read the CSSC commandments?
Are they so out of touch with yours?

& Wozza, thankyou for your posts, I have learnt more from you in 2 posts, than from the CSSC mouth piece come fence sitting sniper, in 2 weeks.

I have read the terms and condiotions in place for members of the CSSC.

We do not have any written terms and condions in place.

But all our members are aware that we not only represent the Sharks Finatics, but we represent our team, our club and all sharks fans when ever we are out in public as a supporters group.

Bad language or violent behaviour will not be tolerated by any member of the Sharks Finatics and will be dealt with accordingly.

Thankfully this has not had to happen as yet, and with the current members, i do not see it taking place in ther near future.

The Sharks Finatics will not associate with any individual or group that may tarnish our reputation with the Sharks Football Club or in any member of the publics image.

So on this note, i suppose that you could say our T&C's are similar.

We have not had any problems as yet with anyone, but in the event that anything does happen, we will act swiftly and remove the possibility of any further problems.

Wow. Supporters group biffo.

This is so important that it makes me want to take the next day off.

I myself can confirm that there is no biffo between the Sharks Finatics and the CSSC.

And i am sure the President of the CSSC Nulla#2 would say the same thing.

Myself and a few other members of the Sharks Finatics were having a few drinks and a chat with various member form the CSSC only a few hours ago in the presentation after todays game.

I even brang a few of our young members along to introduce them.

So no need to take any days off mate...... Sorry to void you of a few days of forum biffs......

I have read this whole thread Aries.

I know a few members of this forum, and others I do not know i will not judge on other members opinions.

I will make my own judgements.

However, I will not stand by and let unjust remarks be made about a group that I am President of.

My job is to look after all members best interests and I will not let someone who doesn't know what is going on make there un-founded comments about something they know nothing about.

As I have said in previous posts. I am approachable, and will talk to anyone who wants to know what happens and how much time, effort and money is put into what the Sharks Finatics do week in, week out.

You all know how to find us, come along and ask anyone around who I am, they will point me out and i will answer any questions that you may have that i have answers for......

Not a one on one meeting with the Sharks Finatics Board, there is no need for that.

The Sharks Football club understand, through previous meetings, that we will support the Team and Club through the hard times and the bad.

Greg has had numerous un-official chats at various home and away games with various members of the Sharks Finatcis where he always thanks us for the effort that we put in week in and week out and have done so for years.

As has Barry Pierce and other members of the Sharks Football Club.

Greg and other members of the Sharks Football club have offered to make themselves available to the Board of the Sharks Finatics, Members of the Sharks Finatics and ALL SHARKS SUPPORTERS whenever the need arises.

On the other hand I know clearly and concisely what the CSSC have planned for each and every game, particularly regarding transport to away games, well in advance.

I have been to away games before and sat around where you guys are and had little to no interaction. When I went with the CSSC, and it was one of the few times I went to the game alone, just about every member came and said hello and made sure I was involved which was very much appreciated.

PJ as I have and the board members of the CSSC have mentioned a few times in this and other threads.

The Sharks Finatics and CSSC cater for 2 different demograhics.

We therefore go about doing things in different ways.

We have alot of young members who are still at school and to young to work. How do you expect us to organise a bus and force them to pay money to attend the bus.

We organise car pools and have numerous cars going to away games where we transport our members to and from the games at no cost.

You also mentioned that you were not approached by any member of the Sharks Finatics at some game you happened to attend. I am terribly sorry that you felt left out, next time you are there, feel free to introduce yourself mate and we will only be too happy to have a chat.

You can stand by what you said, you are entitled to your own opinion, i just find it hard to believe that you can make judgments on something that they know nothing about.

If you ever want to know the facts, come along and have a chat, then feel free to make your judgments.

The Sharks Finatics and the CSSC have a great working relationship and I do not appreciate you, being a member of the CSSC, making un-just remarks about the Sharks Finatics.

You will do more harm then good.

This is not about one group being better then the other, it is about a bunch of fellow supporters giving there all to support their team.

You haven't upset me.

I will jump to the defence of anything that I represent in the public eye, especially knowing the amount of time and effort that myself and the Board of the Sharks Finatics put into what we do.

I am certain that anyone would do that.

There is no hard feelings what so ever, i still extend the invitation anytime you want to meet me or know anything about what we do.
